Looks like a new track from the album called "Devil Side" will be out this weekend. Noise11 is reporting that it will be out tomorrow, while Saavn is listing it with a December 26 release.

"Devil Side" was released as an instant grat from the album today and it's on Spotify. You could listen to it here.

The album sampler is out and I really like most of the songs!

There's nothing wrong with Glorious!

 

The album sounds nice enough, not really clicking with it AS much as I had with her first effort. Hopefully it'll grow on me though.

I also think the clips sound better than the first album.

'cruel' is f***ing fabulous, channeling the best of 90s pop, ace of bace, britney and aqua spring to mind. a salvaged moment from this #mess of an era!

 

if only she'd done a record of stuff more like 'cruel' and less of the dross she's been putting out recently and she might be somewhere better...

Cruel is an absolute bop. The album is really good as a whole!

Cruel has to be the next single!!!

This is so much better than Glorious! I liked Glorious but never really went back to it apart from the singles, but this album is pop at its best! Looking at the production credits, the Mark Ralph produced tracks are all fantastic and really have a cohesive uplifting sound to them and luckily he produces half of the album.

 

I'm not sure there is really any weak links to this album, I agree that Cruel needs to be the next single but a worthy shout out to the two Mark Ralph-produced deluxe bonus tracks (Shoot Me Down and Lose My Cool) that really deserve a position on the standard.

Cruel is AMAZING, as is Shoot Me Down :heart: They're my two non-single highlights for sure. The album overall is much stronger than Glorious, I feel like she's actually found her own sound with this album.

Cruel is SO much better than Amazing/Better Love. (And I do enjoy those two, to a point)

 

But I'm worried that with the underperformance of everything else so far, Cruel won't get supported if it's the next single (which it should be).

Cruel is so good! It really should have been a single after Body Talk really, which I still love <3 Not heard the rest of the album but Cruel and Body Talk are the only two good songs I've heard so far, the rest of the singles were very lacklustre.
