Liking the album, but still want something in better quality - the version I have is only medium quality!
I've given the album three listens now, I really like it although it's not their best. Highlights, singles aside, are If I Could Fly, Never Enough and Love You Goodbye for me  Three of the four deluxe tracks are among the best also (all bar Wolves which is still really good). I just wish there were a few more uptempos, it feels a bit too midtempo most of the way through. A good album though and will no doubt continue to grow on repeated listens!
Just had my 1st full listen, their best album without a doubt!

Promotion schedule for this month:

Good to see a fair bit of promo!

Love You Goodbye and A.M. are really doing it for me right now, stunning tracks

Another promo slot, the boys will perform on X Factor on Sunday.
What A Feeling pls.

This needs to be a single.

I'm not sure whether it's their best album, but it's very solid.

Hey Angel is a great song - it reminds of Coldplay from the Mylo era and some very obvious Robbie Williams...

Really really love End of The Day, Olivia & Never Enough - the latter especially. If there is a 3rd single, surely What a Feeling has to be it? It's not my favourite, but it's something radio would eat up for breakfast.

Out of the slower songs, Love You Goodbye is a real heart-jerker for me. Lyrically I can connect with the song so much. The same goes for Long Way Down, but I think that is the weakest song on the album.

How great are the deluxe tracks? Normally they're just obvious filler tracks to keep the fans happy, but they're all great, and wouldn't sound out of place on the actual album! All 4 are very different and strong tracks on their own.

This is their worst album IMO. Feels like they were running out of ways to make good songs going by the album-per-year formula.

'Perfect' is the only song that's really *amazing*.

Wait, they are releasing a new album? Already? What?

Well it's been a year since the last one :heehee:

It's basically 1/4 ballads and the rest are 80's/90's Classic Rock rehashes apart from "Olivia" which sounds like a straight up Broadway song.

"What A Feeling" is GODLY. HOLY CRAP. I'd put it under the 80's rehashes because it sounds like something straight from The Police, but their vocals and the production just pull it off fantastically. (1D coming for that Adult Contemporary #1?) "Perfect" still remains the best on the album though.

"A.M." should not have been a bonus track IMO.

Exactly. Wait too little time to prepare for another release, especially with the Zayn dramz

They are going on hiatus in March so there wont be a 1D album/music for a while. It's better to release that album now than wait after the hiatus when 1 or 2 members are not excited about the band anymore, like some Spice Girls were after their 1999 hiatus.

I'd much rather they went out on a high note with 'FOUR' than this mess of an album...
I don't think it's a mess at all, it's just....different to what you'd expect a 1D album to be. It's certainly nowhere near as good as FOUR, and that's down to a lack of uptempos really. Still a good album though and I really hope it can be their fourth #1 album next Friday.
Quite disappointed with this, I agree with Calum that coming of FOUR thisjust sounds like maturity (good, it made theirbest album yet) but boring maturity :( However, Olivia is one of their best songs ever, as is Drag Me Down
