And there wasn't any promo, except video.

I hope airplay will kick quickly, she should go to BBC breakfast or something.

Airplay won't kick in for about another 3 or so weeks I don't think, considering it's out on the 22nd March!

The song is not awful. Still on the fence as to weather the drum and bass was a good idea though...I'm worried it won't help the album as much. And she had a chance of Heart/R2 supporting her if she released the normal version.

The preorder will likely disappear for a few weeks now, but not to worry. I'm sure this song will get some support from the major stations. Capital / Kiss / R1 will play it, just maybe not hammer it.

I think we all know this will bomb, it might just about breach the top 20 but that's it. No higher than #18.

I think with the way the charts are these days, going top 20/30 for a post-album single can't really be described as bombing. I think that would be a pretty decent outcome. I'd absolutely love a top ten, since it's the best track on the album though.

I think it might actually do well. I can't see radio snubbing it completely and with both versions on ITunes it gives fans something different, and Cheryl does have a fanbase (albeit smaller than what it used to be) so I think she'll be okay.

Well it depends what sort of artist you are. If your a top artist and the quality is there then people will buy post-album singles, especially when the album has sold very little. I doubt this will be the case though as Cheryl is purely a front-loaded and media hyped artisit.

Her last two post-album singles peaked at #18 and #13, so with streaming factored in, top 30 would be a good result for this. Hoping for higher though!
I don't necessarily see why top 30 would be a good result, someome like Cheryl (one of the the most famous women in the country) should be able to do better for post-album sigles than scraping top 30s. I mean how many albums has she sold? Not many so she shouls be able to sell singles still better than that.

Oh she should be able to do better than that but we've got to accept that she's not quite as successful musically as she once was :kink: Selling less albums didn't mean she sold more of I Don't Care!
It doesn't but it shows she is not as successful as she is made out to be. She obviously has a large, cmmited fanbase but apart from that, hardly anyone buys her music yet she is made out to be this big-selling, populist artist.
This is actually the best thing to come from this era . I didnt like Crazy stupid love and I dont care . I can see it peaking between 7-15 I just hope she promotes it well .
If she was to promote I actually think she could do pretty well with this however I don't think she's going to promote it well and so I have to resign myself to the fact it's probably not going to do as well as I'd like.
She will be at Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway soon :cheer:
