22 | Britney Spears

Album: Femme Fatale

Songs: Stronger, Break The Ice, Before The Goodbye, Amnesia, Till The World Ends

Almost making my top 20 is one of the defining artists of the 90's and early 00's. Britney. As with most people, I fondly remember the likes of ....Baby One More Time and Toxic, but I never really invested much time or effort into her, until the fabulous Femme Fatale era, that album is a masterpiece. She is also one of only TWO artists ever to do a cover of an Alanis Morissette song and not butcher said song, in her case, You Oughta Know. She nailed it IMO, putting enough grit and bile into her (LIVE) vocals. Work it bitch.

21 | Stereophonics

Album: Graffiti On The Train

Songs: My Own Worst Enemy, Dakota, Stone, Indian Summer, A Thousand Trees

From America's pop sweetheart to Wales' rock supergods. I, like everyone tbh, love Dakota which is how I got into this band, that and the fact that lead singer Kelly Jones is a DILF.

Similar to the likes of Oasis I guess, only tolerable. Their success has weined a bit, but the quality of their albums has not. Graffiti On The Train really is incredible and y'all need to go listen to it.

20 | Natalie Imbruglia

Album: Counting Down The Days

Songs: Fun, Shiver, When You're Sleeping, Smoke, Goodbye

NatIm top 20 for the first time in like, 10 years, yasssss.

Torn is overrated and kinda crap, let's just get that outta the way first of all. Infact, a lot of her debut is. White Lillies Island and beyond is where she came into her own.

Shiver is easily one of the best songs ever recorded. A new album is coming, a covers album, but still, nu music is always good when she is singing it.

19 | Lady Gaga

Album: Born This Way

Songs: Wait and see tbh, counting down in Gaga forum

Now, I do like to mock her and jump on bandwagons, but deep down, I love her. Batshit crazy, she dresses like a mental patient, sings about any old rubbish and makes some

truely odd music videos, but you cannot deny she has a killer voice and some real tunes.

yas the iconic moment when she decided to sing live Alanis song, but her songs not lol

Not saying anything else about Nat other than shut up about Torn (it's her best) and also Want is a tune

18 | Cher

Album: Living Proof

Songs: Emotional Fire, Song For The Lonely, You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me, Gypsies Tramps & Thieves, Body To Body, Heart To Heart

The living plastic bommerang of the music world. Everyone knows her and can blast off at least 10 of her songs without even trying, she's been around for so long that

there are cave drawings of her first Farewell Tour.

She started out pop, went rock, went dance. She's done it all and won an Oscar. I truely do love her, her voice is out of this world and still sounds as amazing as it did back in

the 60's. Off on another tour, sadly not in the UK though.

17 | Jewel

Album: 0304

Songs: Intuition, 2 Become 1, Goodbye Alice In Wonderland, Fading, Break Me

Does anyone remember her? The quirky toothed guitar playing botched boob job victim with the voice of an angel. I admit i have not been a fan of her for as long as some of the

acts below her, but I have invested heavily in her in the past 2 or so years. She has a nack for writing and no matter what genre the music is, the songs remain very "Jewel"-ish. People may claim she sold out with 0304, but under the dance beats was a typically beautiful and honest album and my GOD, it is a good one. Intuition is better than the typical pop princess drivel of the early 00's tbh.

44 | The Saturdays

Album: On Your Radar

Songs: Forever Is Over, Not That Kinda Girl, Died In Your Eyes, All Fired Up, 808

Floperdays slayage!

Anyay, I am not big on girlbands, but I like these girls. Except Rochelle, she needs to FOAD, bitch whore from Hell. Anyway, they are massive flops but the music is mainly

awesome, so it's not all bad. Una is a babe.

37 | Christina Perri

Album: lovestrong.

Songs: Human, Distance, Sea Of Lovers, Mine, The Lonely

A pretty new-ish artist, only two albums down, but both those albums are of the all killer no filler bracket. Christina has a stunning voice and knows how to make some good tunes.

Human shoulda been a huge smash like Jar Of Hearts tbh. Sea Of Lovers slays careers.

Just came across this countdown! Got to say you have great taste :cheer:

16 | Shayne Ward

Album: Obsession

Songs: Foolish, That's My Goal, Must Be A Reason, You Make Me Wish, I Cry

The second most gorgeous, second most talented winner of X-factor and we all know it. Shayne's body is incredible, as is his voice. Lushness gone mad. His debut was

typical ballad fodder, but then, then came Breathless and he turned into a british Justin Timberlake, only hotter and hairier. Lushness done mad. Obsession is a piece of art

and his newbie likely will be too. WOOOOO.

Edited by Regina

I used to love him in his first two album eras. I kind of have sentimental affection for him these days. Probably won't be purchasing the new album if his new single is anything to go by though!

15 | P!nk

Album: Funhouse

Songs: This Is How It Goes Down, Words, Trouble, Split Personality, Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self

P!nk is uderrated, even in my chart here. I do love her and own all her albums, but I've not stanned for her as long as some of the other artists above and/or she hasn't made

as much impact on my life. That being said, she really is awesome. Pop/Rock will never be the same again, lady knows how to churn out a sexy angry bop but then she always

delivers with the heartfelt ballads too. Slay.

28 | Olly Murs

Album: Olly Murs

Songs: A Million More Years, Hand On Heart, Anywhere Else, What A Buzz, Just For Tonight

I couldn't help but wonder why so many people blame this song..I really like it too. Do you like his new song "Seasons"?

Shayne only had the one good era with Breathless, Obsession was pretty bad and the new one sounds a total mess oops.

Totally agree about Pink, she's so consistent sales wise and everything, hasn't really had a flop era or anything but she doesn't get viewed as one of the big pop girls :(

Album: Chapman Square

Songs: Learn To Love Again, Parachute, Juliet, Touch, Getting Nowhere

Liam say anything and I'll cut you.

These guys have only been around for a few years and only have one album, but still, they rock, and half of them would get it bad.

I took notice of their first few singles, but it wasn't till Learn To Love Again came about that I reallllly started to stan for them. They are flawless rock-pop goodness.

Album: My December

Songs: Never Again, Fading, Go, Alone, Cry

Queen of American Idol, when will ur favs ever slay like she did? Never.

I have been a fan from pretty much the beginning, I didn' buy Thankful when it first came out, but then, nobody did. But then came Breakaway and a hurried off to get Thankful,

in WHSmith, remember when they stocked CD's? Yeah. My December is easily one of the finest crafted albums ever and even though current bop Piece By Piece is not up to her

usual standards, it's still better than most of the top 40. Also, dat voice, she can pile on the vox when she wants to. Slay.

12 | Céline Dion

Album: Taking Chances

Songs: Fade Away, Loved Me Back To Life, Taking Chances, I Surrender, I Drove All Night

Powerballad KWEEN.

Everyone knows who this lady is and can easily name a handful of her songs, one of the biggest selling female artists ever. I grew up during the time she was at her peak, so

I feel like she's been in my life since I was an ickle baba. My Mum loves her, so I kinda stole all her La Dion albums. Taking Chances is easily one of my faves of all time.
