sia wrote a song for adele. adele rejected it. sia released an album with that song publicly stating that adele rejected it. there's no right OR wrong in this story. so michael please f*** off it's tiring, you're tiring.
big scary sia tried to make tiny innocent adele sing her song but adele was like noooooo i'm sorry i will never write a song of my own ever again i'll let you write all of my songs thank you for existing sia
Listen bitch, saying someone who doesn't sing others' songs rejected your song is juat a cheap way of advertising, especially given Adele's huuuge name.
One of Adele's biggest hits was a cover though  and she's done a fair few. So saying she " doesn't sing others' songs" is a bit of a stretch.
how will adele ever survive this tho

no point in arguing with sarah at this point (or ever)

Well yah Regina but that was one song, a cover, on ha fiest album.no less. Adele does sing covers but not songs written FOR her. Autobiographical n all.

Bitch just 'cos you've suffered the deweaving!

Sia herself said they wrote 'Alive' together and there's actually a demo of it with Adele's vocal on it, why would she lie? If so, why would Adele not speak up and contest it?

A bit of logic wouldn't go amiss.

Adele also has a writing credit on the song too.

Not entirely sure what the issue is here but Adele herself said they were in the same room together:

She enjoyed working with Sia for her new album, even though the songs didn't make it (one, "Alive," became a single for Sia instead). Adele realized she had never collaborated with a woman before. "I actually love the dynamic of us both being in there and just f***ing being bossy," she says with a laugh. "And it's all these male producers, and they're all f***ing shitting themselves 'cause we're in there."

'Move Your Body' has Shakira written all over it, wtf was she thinking by rejecting it?! Quite obsessed with it now, although I can't see Sia releasing it as a single herself.

The whole album is so much better than I was anticipating - the new tracks are great on first listen and all the promo singles have grown immensely.

I had a quick snippet listen earlier and rushed straight to HMV after uni to this and also got 1000 Forms of Fear and We Are Born. Clearly becoming a Sia stan
This is another fantastic album from her. Much like '1000 Forms of Fear' it gets a bit tedious in the final few tracks but the first half is outstanding. It was a big risk as a concept but it's really worked well for her and made for quite a diverse album.
This album is much better overall than 1000 forms of fear. There isn't a bad song on the album. I will deffo be buying it.
