March 2, 201510 yr I mean even the Sugababes didn't, you know. This misplaced shade! *Informs Silas* ~ If they were still active at the moment and Frankie wasn't pregnant, sure, I wouldn't be against it at all. When it comes to the group, I feel like the girls have nothing to lose any more - and I doubt taking part would be a risk for their individual careers (thinking more of Rochelle and Una here). It's not like the group has a major legacy to uphold, and their success level was at an all time low in 2014. Even if they flopped at Eurovision, I'm sure they'd only stand to gain from it. I reckon that they'd probably all feel above it though.
March 2, 201510 yr tbh Totto, us together would be able to give the Dutch 12 points to them so they wouldnt be complete flops

Only if she has totally fade away out of the media and she is looking for a last way in. Or if she and Marvin are ask as a duo, that I wouldn't mind.
March 2, 201510 yr Well they need their 2 backup singers I think and only 6 people can be on stage and since Frankie's contributions and live vocals are non-existant, I think they can leave her out
March 2, 201510 yr They'd actually have nothing to loose from doing Eurovison. They'd never gain Radio 1 back anyway, but if they released a decent Eurovision song Heart and Radio 2 would 100% probably give them better AirPlay than they'd had in years.
March 4, 201510 yr I'm no Eurovision expert but don't the UK complain every year that noone votes for them for political reasons or something?
March 4, 201510 yr No, I don't think it would benefit them at all, also I don't think they could pull it off and we would get crap points as always.
March 4, 201510 yr I'm no Eurovision expert but don't the UK complain every year that noone votes for them for political reasons or something? And that's because the UK public fail to recognise that the songs we enter deserve to have no-one voting for them. When on the rare occasions we send good songs we do well (It's My Time (top 5 overall), I Can (top 5 in the televoting)) and only Molly was unlucky in that she deserved more votes than she got - but many countries always send good songs and don't even get past the semi-final! I think at this stage The Saturdays might as well do Eurovision if they ever got the opportunity as I can't see where any more success for them could come from, but as Adam said earlier, girlbands don't have the best track record in Eurovision for some reason.
