The core four-piece of the group were known as the Chatto Quartet, a classically trained string quartet that performed J.S. Bach and cited Jacqueline du Pré as an influence, but their post-show, wind-down music often consisted of garage, two-step, Craig David, and Arcade Fire tracks. The quartet members were aware of both producer Jon Wandeck and MC Ssegamic through the duo's work in photography, and when Wandeck suggested they play on one of his house music cuts, Clean Bandit were born. With MC Ssegamic on the mike, they released the classical-meets-house-meets-hip-hop-meets-heartbreak song "Telephone Banking" in the summer of 2011. Their Dance Armstrong mixtape followed in 2012, while 2013 saw the release of their Mozart's House EP. - iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title) Clean Bandit 2012 100 A&E (Clean Bandit Feat. March 1, 201511 yr Yay, 'Real Love' isn't tiring on me at all! 'Rather Be' came on the radio too earlier and likewise that was sounding amazing too. CleanGlynne material is so much stronger than the Jess songs we've heard so far.
March 1, 201511 yr And we have another unbearable Ed Sheeran song coming up. Out of Sing, Don't and Thinking Out Loud, Don't is the only song I can stand.
March 1, 201511 yr Real Love bringing the average age of the songs in the top 40 down to 36 weeks :cheer: Slay.
