Little Mix's Black Magic sold 100,746 and streamed 11,938 to make 112,684 total. That doesn't beat What About Us! They sold 114K in first week, without streams! Whooo!!

That's such a pitiful performance, but at least you've gotta admired how most of it is fully live. (Despite what people say, even Frankie and Mollie were live, but they do have backing vocals)

 

Vanessa's tone sounds so weird. Really unusual from her, even beyond the whole Tranessa story...

 

Rochelle has never managed to sing that chorus properly, it's weird and a bit disappointing. She has belted much much harder bits than these.

 

They need to stop f***ing that much with microphones sound level too. Oh well the chances of another performance from them are so slim anyway, so nevermind :kink:

Not sure which is worse, that or the Today Show performance. Hands down some of their best choreography (up there with Notorious on SYTYCD) but those vocals...

 

I forgot how bad Vanessa struggled during this campaign and I'm glad her vocals are back to normal now. Rochelle is too shouty and Una never does her "What About Us" bits any justice. They sound flat. Frankie and Mollie's voices are basically nonexistent.

 

I think the Today Show was where Frankie and Mollie sounded like robots so that was probably worse.

You can hear Frankie better when she's in her higher register (the first pre-pre-chorus).

Mollie pops up in the second "Oh why are we waitin'" and you can hear the difference in her verse when she stops singing as well.

 

They are both audible at the "and i'm not gonna stop" during the 2nd verse/pre-pre-chorus... sounds a bit poor.

 

Just such a big giant mess.
