They are good, but they all heavily rely on backing tracks and pyrotechnics to sell their performances, especially Katy who was out danced by costumed sharks. If we were comparing to Lady Gaga or BEYONCÉ, yes that bitch is a remarkable performer even though they also lip syncs over pre recorded tracks at times. Britney pre breakdown is untouchable in comparison to Katy or Rihanna. March 15, 201510 yr What's with the Katy shade? Her Superbowl performance was mesmerizing. It wasn't just a halftime show, it was a spectacle! The only gripe I had was, for a KATY PERRY HT Performance, she should have had less Missy! I don't get why you guys are dragging down perfectly fine performances. Brit will just have to prove the doubters/naysayers wrong if this is true. Show people why people like us still adore her!
March 15, 201510 yr I shaded Katy Perry because while she can put on a good show. It's incomparable to a Britney show. Which isn't a bad thing they are completely different performers. But, I wasn't the one that brought her name into the conversation. Basically don't judge it until it happens. But, it does irritate me that people want to compare Katy's 3 well performing albums with a well established icon who has maintained her relevance for almost 17 years. To say that a BRITNEY headliner is a downgrade or to try and act like Britney has something to prove in regards to any of her current peers is ridiculous. She is BRITNEY SPEARS. I'm not sure how much any of you realize how much she would bring viewers in for the American market. Her recent material suffered because she didn't do a single promotional performance, and still opened with sales over 100,000 copies. Look at her limited promo for FF and it gave her, her first album with 3 top ten hits. I just think her marketing power for the USA (the biggest market in the world) is extremely underrated.
