Let's hope Zayn get's some good rest i hope he returns in South Africa but i have a feeling that if he returns he returns in June after their 2 month break. I was really young when Geri left (11) but it had such an impact on my life at the time, i felt sad and betrayed but when she returned as a solo artist in 1999 i was over it already.

March 21, 201510 yr According to some update accounts Liam and Niall said that Zayn will be back tomorrow at the 2nd Manilla concert. That's quick for someone with stress issues.

March 21, 201510 yr What I don't understand is these boys always seem to be on holiday... granted they do these massive tours, but bar the massive tour and recording the album, they contribute 2 or 3 performances promotion for a single, generally during album time and then they disappear. All their candids are them on holiday... so it leads me to the question... what do they need a break from?
March 21, 201510 yr Author I'd say apart from the 3 month break they took at the start of last year, they have hardly stopped since they finished X Factor! And let's not forget, when they do have days off/holidays they are still 'so and so from One Direction'. Stopping to take pictures and talk to fans all the time must be exhausting, on top of the excessive touring/album recording/promoting cycle they've got themselves stuck on.

The 22-year-old, who is engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, recently left the band's tour of Manilla and Jakarta for stress reasons. Malik flew to the UK days after pictures emerged showing him with another woman in Thailand. March 24, 201510 yr This is a prime example of just how far the media can push somebody before they finally reach their breaking point and cannot cope with the pressures, demands, rumours, etc. for any longer. It's honestly so sad to see this happening to him. As much as it feels like the five of them could have gone on and done another album, this feels like a natural end (if he leaves). I'm fairly sure Simon letting them all do their own solo projects and ventures was a mere cover up for the fact that the glue's not sticking.
March 24, 201510 yr How many places have started reporting it? Tho it might just be click-bate. The band would still continue you would feel, but not for much longer, I think the next album would definitely be the last.
March 24, 201510 yr It's quite rare for a pop group to survive losing a member, the only real examples I can think of are Take That and Westlife :drama: Obviously bands like Sugababes and Atomic Kitten replaced members along the way, but S Club 7 and the Spice Girls both had members leave and only lasted one more album before splitting, and that's the route I can see 1D taking sadly. :(
