Just wanna say 'Gold' is great....the lyrics are brilliant . Also the intro is very Bowie-esque....very similar to Ashes to Ashes which is a good thing.

It's a brilliant album and definitely grows on you. Froot, I'm a Ruin and Blue should be #1s in a perfect chart. Solitaire is a real grower. Happy is a bit bland.

Happy, Froot and Immortal were all 10s before I read about the (stupid :angry: ) limit of 10s allowed.

'Better Than That' is the one that's grown on me the most. I'm having a weird relationship with it. I liked it, then felt meh, then hated it but now I just think it's fantastic. I might have to promote it to a 10 but that would mean changing 'Froot' to a 9 so I'm not sure.

 

I know she denied it but I can't get the idea that it's about Ellie Goulding out of my head. I feel like it's a sequel to Ed's 'Don't'.

All I know is that Ellie Goulding was not happy to hear Better Than That :kink: Didn't she block any fan that told her about it or commented 'Buy Froot on Itunes' on her instagram, before posting 'I Don't Care' in response and then finally unfollowing Marina on twitter?

It's unclear if they have on or not. I'm sure they were good friends in 2012 but evidence seems to suggests something happened and judging by the way Ellie had reacted on social media in response seems to be quite odd. But Marina's denied any feud so I don't think we'll ever know for sure.
