March 28, 201510 yr Author I know there's only the 2 choices but I want to find out who will form the government if BJ were to vote this week.
March 28, 201510 yr Why? There's already a full party poll in the Lounge. He's asking which of the two you'd side with for a government.
March 28, 201510 yr If that was the only two options, I'd refuse to vote then catch the first international flight i could afford out of Edinburgh.
March 28, 201510 yr The option of selecting both is (inadvertently?) appropriate given the increasing likelihood that a "Grand Coalition" might be the only possible combination that could get a majority.
March 28, 201510 yr Neither. One is the lesser of 2 etceteras but I am looking for a more left wing party willing to pay to help those in need by taking from those who have bucketloads at the expense of those currently in need. Sorry.
March 28, 201510 yr The question is which party you'd prefer to be in government. 'Neither' isn't an option if you think one is better than another.
March 29, 201510 yr Author Whats so hard to understand here it's going to be either a labour or Tory gov no matter what happens even if they have partners - it's the British electoral system!
March 29, 201510 yr The question is which party you'd prefer to be in government. 'Neither' isn't an option if you think one is better than another. I prefer the term less bad. There isn't an option for other combinations, and this poll would have been irrelevant before the last election given neither of them were in government alone. The worst-case realistic scenario is Tory majority, so you can infer from that any other options would be preferable.
March 29, 201510 yr I prefer the term less bad. There isn't an option for other combinations, and this poll would have been irrelevant before the last election given neither of them were in government alone. Eh? The question is which party you'd prefer in government, not which party you want in government alone. It would have been exactly as applicable last time!
March 29, 201510 yr Eh? The question is which party you'd prefer in government, not which party you want in government alone. It would have been exactly as applicable last time! Hmmm not clear from the short question. ..."alone or in a coaliton" wouldve helped...!
April 3, 201510 yr I'm pinning my hopes on a Labour minority government with a vote by vote agreement with the SNP. I'm dreading the possibility of a Tory / UKIP coalition.
