British producer Wolf Cutt brings forth another electronic offering similar to the likes of Frost Children and Tiffany Day (with a slice of 2020’s Porter in there) that can hopefully electrify audiences. This is the fourth time we’ve gone with a plan B and the third time in four contests. So cheers to a DNQ once again 🥂#CorLupusZodiacAge #BJSC187
September 6Sep 6 Author Fine I’ll do some promo. But first-BJSC 181 | Wolf Cutt & Muki - STARSEED | 31st (138 points)Me that entire contest:Turns out this was lucky enough to be in a semi full of alternative where the pop lovers who were also in hell bc the final result says otherwise. Yet another contest with more negatives than positives. With Wolf Cutt returning for Freidland (who have been massive fans of us lately), will there be similar misfires or will they get a better result? Maybe we’re the problem? We’ll see. #CorLupusZodiacAge #BJSC187Thankfully there were no hiccups with the next entry which means we get to swiftly move on to-

After being in the trenches for the past few months, we’ve finally been able to see the other side of an entry clash!AMARA ctk100 previously represented Daehun and with them returning we couldn’t resist giving some justice to one of their artists! This could be seen as the foil to “REBORN” from last year - while Ashley Sienna gave us a midnight rave at a haunted house, this leans more into the “day drinking on a yacht in Ibiza” vibe. Could the cure to getting over a flop be some liquid courage?#CorLupusZodiacAge #BJSC188
September 6Sep 6 This has a distinct 2010-2012 sound to it and reminds me so much of something specific that I cannot currently place.Anyway, I strongly thought about confirming it too but didn't try as knew I'd got to the thread too late. It's a smash though, RontBet predicts top five.

Of course, Good Times was a BJSC winner, but this is going to have a catfight with Ane Brun and any other major contenders that emerge.
October 6Oct 6 Author time for a late update!-BJSC 188 | AMARA ctk100 - Paradiso Nights | 4th (251 points)Okay well this was wild! Turns out centering the narrative around getting drunk was the move and it brings us another top 5 after an uncompetitive and floppy previous month! And it also helped that we got our first choice after months of fighting in the trenches. #CorLupusZodiacAge #BJSC188which brings us to...

A different kind of chaos… How delightful”Well now is the perfect time for Scarlet Witch to join the party! From an article by Music NZ:Dimly Lit Cadaver is a propulsive journey, with haunting vocals and heavy guitar riffs played by guitarist Gussie Larkin on her distinct 1967 Tokai Hummingbird guitar. There are echoes of classic metal and punk, with punchy chants underpinned by chugging, fuzzy, polyrhythmic riffs. The song is featured on the vinyl-only compilation for Field of Vision, the Colorado festival curated by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, where Earth Tongue performed this month.Filmed in an alpine town in central Switzerland, the song’s video leans into the duo’s penchant for campy yet unsettling imagery. Made up of Gussie Larkin (guitar and vocals) and Ezra Simons (drums and vocals), the duo have become known for their strong visuals as much as their music, with scenes that wouldn’t feel out of place in Rosemary’s Baby or The Shining.Dimly Lit Cadaver was filmed following a festival the band played in Switzerland, with the location becoming a crucial part of the concept; “Our dream was to find a rundown cabin in the woods to film in. Kinda like an Evil Dead situation,” Gussie says. “The festival linked us up with a local who runs a 100-year-old ski chalet that has been transformed into an artist space and venue for the past 15 years. It was filled with esoteric art, bizarre trinkets and had plenty of spooky spaces to film in.” Earth Tongue and their small crew literally went to great heights to bring the video to life, hauling all of their equipment up the mountain via gondola to capture stunning shots on the mountainside.Well we had to get bitten by the bug sooner or later, right? Following the massive success of Paradiso Nights and in celebration of the upcoming spoopy season, we trade in the sex on the beach for some bloody marys and send a delightful piece of rooooooooock music fit with a video full of horror imagery. New Zealand based band Earth Tongue is responsible for this shift in direction - just a bit over 10 years after another band from New Zealand gave us our first win. After years of being strapped to a more indie focused semi with our pop entries, the tables have turned. We send an indie track and we're in the pop semi. Opposite sides, same fücking trenches. Will we cheat death again? WHO KNOWS#CorLupusZodiacAge #BJSC189
Yesterday at 09:251 day Great to see a Helvetian filmed video! And a brilliant song. Glad it made it out of the pop semi.
