March 30, 201510 yr Author Both the newcomer awards are good but it really doesn't feel like Karen is a newcomer at all  I would have preferred interstellar to win best sci-Fi and not seen any of the nominated horrors (planning to watch oculus today though) Seen all the comedies and paddington would be my 3rd or 4th favourite (Inbetweeners 2 or 22 jump street should have won). Also would have liked gone girl to win best thriller but yay for Rosamund winning best actress  As good as serkis was I would have preferred a Cumberbatch or cooper win Yay for interstellar winning the big 2 as it is such an excellent movie
March 31, 201510 yr Paddington is a worth winner as it was the funniest film of 2014 for my money. Otherwise I cannot fathom out Empire readers at all. No wonder I stopped buying it over 10 years ago.

'Kingsman' SLAYING though
