Exciting playlist update this week with Tove Lov, Carly Rae and Nicki Minaj (who I was sure they were done with).

Some fantastic additions there - Conor, Carly, Nicki, Tove :cheer: The Alesso song is decent too! And Iggy up to b-list :D

NICKI MINAJ! :o

Her first song playlisted since Va Va Voom! I take back all the Radio 1 ageist comments now.

Best update in a while. Carly, Tove, Blonde, Alesso. And Ellie, James Bay, The Weeknd, and Years & Years all finally gone. Oops at 'Seasons' though, what a flop.

Edit: Oh and Nick Jonas A-list seems so out of place. Brilliant track though.

WOW @ them adding Nicki Minaj :o

Knew Conor wouldn't get snubbed, a big YESSS for them adding Carly, glad to see they've finally dropped Ellie Goulding (about 3 weeks too late but never mind) and really happy that Kodaline have been A-listed, surely it will go Top 40 now!

Shame they've dropped Olly Murs already though :(

Carly and Tove! :cheer:

I still haven't heard the new Nicki track, am I right in thinking it's more poppy that her other recent singles? If so I'll probably like it!

Blonde/Carly/Alesso on :D Hoping all will do quite well upon release (well, Carly getting #1 is pretty much a sure thing, but the other two have Top 10 potential at least)

Had no doubts they'd add 'Talking Body', though this does seem rather early. The song screams 'hit' though, surely will be her highest-peaking single yet?

Fantastic week for new additions! Tove in particular but also Conor and Nicki. 'Talking Body' needs to be massive

Blonde/Carly/Alesso on :D Hoping all will do quite well upon release (well, Carly getting #1 is pretty much a sure thing, but the other two have Top 10 potential at least)

3 former Ramrynia BJSC entrants added in one week! :o

YAY for Blonde, Carly Rae J, Conor Maynard and especially ALESSO on the playlist :D

Good to see Nicki Minaj and Tove Lo there too, will have to check out their songs shortly.

Goes to show that if they'd bothered pushing the brilliant 'Not On Drugs' as a UK single, Radio 1 would definitely have jumped on board and it would have been some sort of a hit. Haven't heard this new one yet but I'll be sure to check it out ASAP.

Delighted for Tove and Carly! Really surprised about Conor and Nicki though!

Literally so happy at all those new enteries on the playlist espically Blonde, Alesso, Shura Tove Lo, Carly and Connor

Also Super happy about Spring King being the BBC Introducing track of the week :cheer:

Carly Rae Jepsen :cheer:

Time to slay that #1

Alesso ft. Roy English 'Cool' is so good. Happy for it.

Wow, best update in a while.

Really didn't think they would add Tove, Carly, Nicki or Conor tbh! Maybe they realised they needed some more pop on their playlist or something.

Why has Karen Harding's 'Say Something' been added again?

one of those :o updates, loving the poppy additions

this pretty much secures carly the #01 down the line doesn't it? a BIG #01 too...

The C-list has me feeling something :cheer:
