snooze, i wonder whatever went on with that scrapped electronic album she was making. for such a lengthy spell away this era feels incredibly half-baked and lacking in any real emotion, it seems awfully trite and insignificant and on that sort of playing field our flo don't work very well...
I do quite enjoy it but it is just lacking OOMPH isn't it? I am so used to anthemic big choruses from her and this is just decent.

I'm still beyond gobsmacked Man flopped. It's so huge.

This is definitely one of her most instant. Not sure it's a hit but I'm on board anyway.

I really like the new one... it's not amazingly powerful but I love that it's something a bit different from her. Hope the video is as good as the one for Man.
This is really growing on me now, it's nothing groundbreaking but it's a lovely listen. It's not very Florence which means it just lacks all of the magic her other stuff often has, it feels like it's kind of just a step or two away from being a Nina Nesbitt song or something
It's grown on me after a few listens but I definitely prefer 'What Kind of Man' and 'St Jude' to this. It's a joyful listen but it's not up there with her best at all and it doesn't feel like a strong single to lead the album with for me.

It's also shot up to #85 on US iTunes for some reason :o

She performed it and 'What Kind of Man' (very well) on SNL last night, which can be seen here.
