March 9, 20169 yr Her and Willow omg :wub: She is really inspiring, I'm glad she was my main kind of role model in the 'celebrity' sense growing up and it makes me proud to be a fan of hers when I see her tweeting things like that and not being afraid to voice her thoughts and stand up for the things she believes in, it one of the many reasons as to why I love her ^_^
March 10, 20169 yr Author She has been getting shit for that message with people saying she was having a go about Kim k. When did she mention Kim in that message 😂😂 Im sure Pink would've posted the message whether Kim had posted the selfie or not 🙄
March 10, 20169 yr It's ridiculous honestly, not everything is about Kim Kardashian. Even if it was it doesn't give anyone the right to come at Pink for it, her point is extremely valid and when you have the likes of Kim Kardashian saying that showing off her body is empowering to her (fair enough tbh, if that's what makes her feel good about herself then by all means do it, each to their own etc) but young people who idolise the Kardashians can always use a reminder that intelligence, independence, just being yourself gives you as much strength as some find in showing off their body. We shouldn't shame Kim for getting naked in order to boost her confidence or whatever but we shouldn't let that overshadow the other good things women are achieving.
March 10, 20169 yr Agreed Lindsey. P!nk is exactly the kind of woman who young women should look up to tbh. Yeah, she peforms in skimpy outfits and isn't shy about showing her body off, but she is also a very intelligent and grounded woman, a wonderful mother, strong supporter of so many causes and a very talented musician. I get that Kim K is proud of her body and sutff, but there really is more to a woman than her body. I'd also throw J-Lo into the same camp as P!nk to a lesser extent, she's a damn good businesswoman as well as a mum and singer. Maybe not quite as outspoken but she does wonders for the Latino community and other causes.
