Obvious single choice, but I'm sad it isn't "Afire Love" again! :(

It's a bit underwhelming for a single choice, but it does seem pretty obvious.

 

Weird how his team is snubbing "One" though... that was one of the best of the promo singles.

Fabulous choice. With 'Bloodstream' and now this, he has won me over (despite the horrific run of singles that started the campaign).

Adore 'Photographs'! You can tell it's such a special song. I doubt it'll do much chart wise, but that don't matter.

Hopefully this doesn't stick around in the chart forever like most Ed Sheeran songs, but I doubt this will be massive anyway. Afire Love is better as was already said

Afire Love is better but that's the best song on the album and this is the second best so there isn't much between them, both such beautiful songs.

 

Very pleased with the choice anyway!

This my fave song off X, not sue if it will do much better with an official singles release as it has already sold around 200,000.

I'm the opposite, I like the first three but have no love for 'Bloodstream' or this (or any of his other singles). Although this is a good choice nonetheless.

 

'Afire Love' should still be released me thinks.

That just makes me envious as I have literally no home movies of my childhood because my parents were complete technophobes in the 90s </3. Could have come in handy if I ever become a popstar and can't be arsed making a video for a fifth single, at the very least. <_<

 

Very sweet video though. Still can't really get behind this being a single as I find it a bit dull and there's much better on the album but it's nice enough.

I love montage, coming of age videos like that! This song lends itself very well to something like that. I'd have liked a "proper" video, but I guess with this being the 5th single, it was never going to be a proper video.

 

Still absolutely LOVE this song.

What a fantastic video, I think it's better than any proper video could've been, it was so sweet from the very start. :cry: Goes so well with the song and as a package I think the whole thing is elevated even more.

I adore this music video but it's another dull Ed song unfortunately :(

He really milks the 'cute/awwwww factor' in a lot of his videos, but fair play to him! We didn't have a home camcorder so I have no videos of my childhood either :(

I don't get how people can find this "dull" but want something like 'Afire Love' as a single?!

I agree with you there! As long as you aren't trying to shade Afire Love! :lol: I think they're both equally beautiful tracks. They're both slower tracks so I don't get how people can like one and not the other but maybe Afire Love just clicks for people more lyrically?

 

But then I really don't get the fuss over Thinking Out Loud. It just plods on and on for me unlike the other two. :lol:
