Tough top 5 (actually 6) this week. The top 4 all deserving of #1 (although it's pretty obvious which one will be #1 next week! No.s 5 and 6 being pushed down although they deserve to stay up and probably won't fall at all next week..

 

Lots of new entries as well this week - not sure if there's a #1 amongst them, but after a couple more weeks (and a few more listens) something will emerge I'm sure.

 

Electro Velvet rise modestly, although it's starting to grow on me - it's very Making Your Mind Up in its catchiness and structure. Wombats don't rise as high as expected as it's not as good as I thought and Jordin Sparks sees a disastrous return after 5 years, falling after one week (after 4 number ones a few years ago)!

 

Returning artists include Will Young and Natalie Imbruglia, while Bright Light finally follows up his #1 from last year

Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with your number one but I must check it out sometime as some of Madeon's past works have been divine.

 

As for new entries, the only one I'm familiar with is 'Double Tap' which on paper seems like a cringeworthy concept, but she somehow pulls it off (well, if scraping in at 40 in my chart counts!). Quite interested in hearing the Will Young one at some point too, as he brought the goods last time with the singles.
