It does seem that we've got a lot of conflicting information so it's hard to know what to believe. However assuming this is true, I'm pumped! Not only will we finally get solo material from them, but they are also still signed as a group which gives me hope for another Sats album. Definitely anxious to see who gets signed, who gets their music out first, what they come up with, and how well they do. I think Mollie will come up with the best material but I'll be rooting for all of them of course.

Yup, I think, Vanessa might be the one who will get that ONE really amazing song, but I feel the rest of her material might leave the fanbase/public too divided between "It's amazing, so original and edgy!!!!11!" and "Wow, there's not even a single bit of hook/melody...It's even shittier than The Saturdays music, etc.". Definitely expect Mollie to have more of a good selection of good songs (maybe not great, but good) than the other two. I think she'll just suffer from not being able to sell powerhouse vocals like Vanessa can, and Una can as well on her best days.

 

That being said... I just can't be excited about Una's solo project. A single, at best, sure. I mean, an EP, possibly, if it's really good. But an entire acoustic pop country-guitar driven album?! Ugh.

Is it even possible to write, record and release a good song within just a few months? If either of them manages to release something "by the end of this year", which I very much doubt is going to happen, it's pretty unlikely to do anything other than make a few fans very happy.

Vanessa, that, I really don't know.

 

I think if two of them are so close to getting a record deal is because they must have quite enough material to give confidence to a label. However, still doesn't mean an album will necessary be released this year. My point is that it could, it's "possible".

I'm very happy with this news in all honesty but what I Really want is Frankie to release a trashy Pop song :cheer: ala Jessica Simpson. She'd pull it off so much better ;)

That link is wrong in so many plces, the first draft was in ten minutes for Skyfall! Una and Mollie are the best songwriters out the group so will be nice to see if Vanessa is writing/co-writing or just accepting material that's given to her?

This article is actually not as recent as the one posted in the first page, and she didn't say she was not going solo, she said she was doing Fashion at the moment at a Fashion event promoting a brand she's getting money to promote. :thinking:

 

She has solo music in her bag , she's been recording - we've seen pictures and producers have talked about it. So it's not like it's been completely made up, out of nowhere.

 

She's just lying, they always are. -_-
