There were two high profile deaths in the music industry this week and both see tracks re-enter my chart. At 20 is Hot Chocolate, whose lead singer Errol Brown passed away at the age of 71, with "You sexy thing".... other Hot Chocolate tracks who would have charted for me would have been "Love of life" in 1970, "Brother Louie" in 1973, "Emma" in 1974, "So you win again" in 1977, "No doubt about it" in 1980 and "It started with a kiss" in 1982. In at 17 is Ben E King with his classic track "Stand by me" one of the all time great songs for me ... the song was released in 1961 but became a bigger hit in 1987. Re-entering at 16 is Charlie Puth with "Marvin Gaye" a song which samples "Stand by me" and entered the Australian top 10 this week. Finally the only new entry is from French based singer Maitre Gims with "Est ce que tu m'aimes" in at 3 this week on the French charts ... he charted twice for me last year with "Bella" and "Zombie".
