May 10, 201511 yr 'Trap Queen' is a bit of a grower, I'm really surprised at how well it's done though (and presumably still going to get bigger here), these sort of songs usually need some sort of GIMMICK (i.e. a viral lyric to use in Vines :P) to make any impact especially from newcomers. 'One Last Time' is DECENT but I can never remember how it goes once it's over. Not sure how it's outpeaked the far superior 'Love Me Harder'. Lol at Sia climbing again. Predictable.

May 10, 201511 yr Now the Whineknd really does encapsulate sheer boredom~ A rare moment of us agreeing on something :o
May 10, 201511 yr 'Earned It' still not making too drastic a drop week-on-week as of late despite the 50 Shades hype being long gone. One of my favourites of the year for sure.

May 10, 201511 yr That girl must have definitely earned it for The Weeknd with how it's done in the chart. Doubtful that he could get another big hit like this again.

Born in Stockholm in 1989, Berg only started making music at the age of 18, writing and remixing tracks in his bedroom and then leaking them onto various blogs. Influenced by Daft Punk and Steve Angello, his melodic house sound gained a huge following, and led to support from Tiësto, who invited him to perform a weekly residency at Privilege in Ibiza, and Pete Tong, who released first single "Manman" through his Bedroom Bedlam label. After he remixed tracks for Little Boots, Robyn, and Dizzee Rascal, Berg's first mainstream release, the Ministry of Sound instrumental "Seek Bromance," became a huge hit across Europe and later in the U.K., thanks to a vocal version featuring Amanda Wilson. In 2012 he released the song "2 Million" after reaching that number of followers on Facebook, while his single "Le7els" and its accompanying video were nominated at that year's MTV Music Video Awards. Towards the end of 2012 he released his highly-anticipated collaboration single with Nicky Romero. "I Could Be The One" was a smash hit and was featured heavily on reality TV shows and radio play across Europe. In 2013, Avicii teamed up with Ericsson and creates the first "crowdsourced" track which enabled the producer to connect to fans and promote his brand. The single "3 Million" was released to celebrate the 3 millionth fan on his Facebook page. "Le7els" was nominated for the Best Dance Recording at the 2013 Grammys but lost out to Skrillex & Sirah's "Bangarang". Ahead of his debut album #TRUE, he released the single "Wake Me Up" in June 2013. Featuring Aloe Blacc, it reached the top of the UK Charts and confidently showed off his new musical direction. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi / iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2010 13 Seek Bromance (As Tim Berg) -NAS- 2010 46 My Feelings For You (Avicii & Sebastien Drums) -1- 2011 04 Collide (Leona Lewis / Avicii) 2011 04 Levels -NAS- 2012 22 Silhouettes -NAS- 2012 49 Superlove (Avicii Vs. May 10, 201511 yr Weekly "Chandelier" update 45 weeks in the Top 40 ties "Stay With Me", "Let It Go", "Rather Be" and for a few moments "Thinking Out Loud". Equal ninth all-time.
May 10, 201511 yr Admittedly this is getting pretty boring now. Also I feel he's just putting out all kinds of random stuff atm, needs some sort of release structure instead of the complete mess he's making right now.
May 10, 201511 yr Imagine the CBBC chart show playing the Earned It video! Sigh of relief for them. Who CBBC viewers voted as their favourite song of 2002 from the "UK Top 40" which was shown from 2002 to 2005. 1 "Dirrty" Christina Aguilera featuring Redman I wonder why they voted for this?
May 10, 201511 yr Ooh the longevity for this is pretty impressive, especially as I originally thought this would be a flash-in-the-pan high peaker just so the public would forget about 'The Days'. Still sounding marvellous too.
