Posted May 10, 201510 yr Should schedules have a separate thread? This is NBC MONDAY 8-10 P.M. — “The Voice” 10-11 P.M. — “BLINDSPOT” TUESDAY 8-9 P.M. — “The Voice” 9-10. PM. — “HEARTBREAKER” 10-11 P.M. — “BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS” (through November) 10-11 P.M. — “Chicago Fire” (premieres in November) WEDNESDAY 8-9 P.M. — “The Mysteries of Laura” 9-10 P.M. — “Law & Order: SVU” 10-11 P.M. — “Chicago P.D.” THURSDAY 8-9 P.M. — “HEROES REBORN” 9-10 P.M. — “The Blacklist” 10-11 P.M. — “THE PLAYER” FRIDAY 8-8:30 P.M. — “Undateable” 8:30-9 P.M. — “PEOPLE ARE TALKING” 9-10 P.M. — “Grimm” 10-11 P.M. — “Dateline” SATURDAY 8-10 P.M. — “Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” 10-11 P.M. — “Saturday Night Live” (Classic encores) SUNDAY 7-8:20 P.M. — “Football Night in America” 8:20-11 P.M. — “Sunday Night Football” Interesting how they've got rid of the Tuesday comedy block, probably wise. Not that I think much of having live Undateable on Friday, and People Are Talking having zero chance but hey, if it was going to die anyway.. Is the Neil Patrick Harris variety show not going to be a family thing? Sticking with the same Wednesday line-up is probably the best thing they could've done. Laura is very low rated but with Empire very likely bound for that time-slot, it's not one they want to fill with a high-priority show. Excited for Heroes Reborn, it could have the best chance of self-starting and propping up The Blacklist but I don't know how many people are really here for it
May 10, 201510 yr Trailers are also out there, but not available outside the US. If anyone comes across any playable ones, please post them. Blackspot & The Player seem to have a lot of potential and of course there's Heroes Reborn, but I think I'll just start The Blacklist tbh.
May 10, 201510 yr Seems like a strong Thursday lineup, I'd imagine The Blacklist will probably rebound to near 2.0 in the fall.
May 10, 201510 yr So little comedy in the NBC line-up and what little there is is punted to Friday :(
May 11, 201510 yr FOX FALL 2015 SCHEDULE (All Times ET/PT) MONDAY 8:00-9:00 PM GOTHAM 9:00-10:00 PM MINORITY REPORT (new) TUESDAY 8:00-8:30 PM GRANDFATHERED (new) 8:30-9:00 PM THE GRINDER (new) 9:00-10:00 PM SCREAM QUEENS (new) WEDNESDAY 8:00-9:00 PM ROSEWOOD (new) 9:00-10:00 PM EMPIRE THURSDAY 8:00-9:00 PM BONES 9:00-10:00 PM SLEEPY HOLLOW FRIDAY 8:00-9:00 PM MASTERCHEF JUNIOR 9:00-10:00 PM WORLD’S FUNNIEST SATURDAY 7:00-10:30 PM FOX SPORTS SATURDAY: FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL SUNDAY 7:00-7:30 PM NFL ON FOX 7:30-8:00 PM THE OT / BOB’S BURGERS 8:00-8:30 PM THE SIMPSONS 8:30-9:00 PM BROOKLYN NINE-NINE 9:00-9:30 PM FAMILY GUY 9:30-10:00 PM THE LAST MAN ON EARTH
May 11, 201510 yr X-Files coming in January, New Girl also being shunted to January to air almost uninterrupted through the end of the season. Bordertown, Frankenstien Code and Lucifer are all midseason too, presumably one of latter two will take the post-Bones slot from Sleepy Hollow. Season 15 of Idol will also be the last.
May 11, 201510 yr Author End of an era with American Idol, I know the ratings are nowhere near what they used to be but I didn't think Fox were in a position to call it quits just yet. Empire getting 18 episodes, a compromise between what the producers would've wanted and what Fox would've wanted. Staying at 9pm is very strange, didn't see anyone calling that, can't have much faith in the drama if they aren't making use of the huge lead-in. Also surprised by Tuesday, Scream Queens appears to be one of the new shows with the most buzz and could've self-started and may have been better leading into the comedies.
May 11, 201510 yr Scream Queens might well be better served at 10 though, I mean content wise at 8 or 9 it would pretty much weaken the premise to such a point that it's not worth even bothering.
May 11, 201510 yr An all new Tuesday, that's interesting. I would have thought Bones would be off to Friday once more as well. Seem to have struck the mix of continuity/new shows/shake up really well.
May 12, 201510 yr Author ABC MONDAY 8-10 P.M. — Dancing with the Stars 10-11 P.M. — Castle TUESDAY 8-8:30 P.M. — THE MUPPETS/Fresh Off The Boat (MIDSEASON) 8:30-9 P.M. — Fresh Off the Boat/THE REAL O'NEALS (MIDSEASON) 9-10. PM. — Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 10-11 P.M. — QUANTICO/WICKED CITY (MIDSEASON- Gap a la Agent Carter)) WEDNESDAY 8-8:30 P.M. — The Middle 8:30-9 P.M. — The Goldbergs 9-9:30 P.M. — Modern Family 9:30-10 P.M. — black-ish 10-11 P.M. — Nashville/SECRETS & LIES (MIDSEASON - Gap a la Agent Carter) THURSDAY 8-9 P.M. — Grey’s Anatomy 9-10 P.M. — Scandal 10-11 P.M. — How to Get Away with Murder/ THE CATCH (MIDSEASON) FRIDAY 8-8:30 P.M. — Last Man Standing 8:30-9 P.M. — DR. KEN/UNCLE BUCK (MIDSEASON) 9-10 P.M. — Shark Tank 10-11 P.M. — 20/20 SATURDAY 8 P.M. — Saturday Night Football SUNDAY 7-8 P.M. — America’s Funniest Home Videos 8-9 P.M. — Once Upon a Time/GALAVANT (MIDSEASON GAP) 9-10 P.M. — OIL 10-11 P.M. — OF KINGS AND PROPHETS/THE FAMILY (MIDSEASON) Would've liked to see them try a new drama on Monday now that Castle is slipping (and perhaps moved that to Sunday) but otherwise I quite like this. I've not really read up on the dramas so I don't know how good they sound or compatibility with other shows. The benefit of Castle staying put I guess is that with Monday, Wednesday and Thursday exactly the same, they can go all out on promoting Tuesday and Sunday. The Muppets is a known brand and maybe it could help Fresh Off The Boat grow, glad that's returning straight away, these are family comedies too so shouldn't clash with the male skewing comedies that Fox have on the night.
May 12, 201510 yr I was wondering what the hell OIL was, until I realised it was that show I was excited for that had no name. ABC Sunday is clearly going to be MUST WATCH again this season too and I think I'll give Wicked City a go too and definitely The Muppets and The Real O'Neals comedy wise. So that makes 5 new ABC shows, approximately 5 times as many on all the other networks combined.
May 12, 201510 yr 'Oil' & 'Of Kings and Prophets' both sound TERRIBLE and I bet the former will not stay around much.
May 12, 201510 yr They both sound like they have great potential for high camp drama, I mean sand and sandals epics almost always descend into total farce and one like that on ABC can only be a total mess.
May 12, 201510 yr Ok, so having watched all the trailers I'll definitely be checking out The Family and The Catch too, good job ABC.
May 13, 201510 yr Author CBS MONDAY 8:00-8:30 PM THE BIG BANG THEORY 8:30-9:00 PM LIFE IN PIECES (N) 8:00-9:00 PM SUPERGIRL (N) (Starting in November) 9:00-10:00 PM SCORPION 10:00-11:00 PM NCIS: LOS ANGELES TUESDAY 8:00-9:00 PM NCIS 9:00-10:00 PM NCIS: NEW ORLEANS 10:00-11:00 PM LIMITLESS (N) WEDNESDAY 8:00-9:00 PM SURVIVOR 9:00-10:00 PM CRIMINAL MINDS 10:00-11:00 PM CODE BLACK (N) THURSDAY 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/ NFL THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (Premieres Sept. 17) 5:00-8:00 PM, PT 8:00-8:30 PM THE BIG BANG THEORY (RTP) (Starting in November) 8:30-9:00 PM LIFE IN PIECES (NTP) (Starting in November) 9:00-9:30 PM MOM (Starting in November) 9:30-10:00 PM ANGEL FROM HELL (N) (Starting in November) 10:00-11:00 PM ELEMENTARY (Starting in November) FRIDAY 8:00-9:00 PM THE AMAZING RACE 9:00-10:00 PM HAWAII FIVE-0 10:00-11:00 PM BLUE BLOODS SATURDAY 8:00-9:00 PM CRIMETIME SATURDAY 9:00-10:00 PM CRIMETIME SATURDAY 10:00-11:00 PM 48 HOURS SUNDAY 7:00-8:00 PM 60 MINUTES 8:00-9:00 PM MADAM SECRETARY 9:00-10:00 PM THE GOOD WIFE 10:00-11:00 PM CSI: CYBER (NTP) I'm not sure about some of this. The Big Bang Theory getting jerked around again which did it no good this time (potentially combined with a quality decline) along with the new comedy following it, although who knows if it'll do well enough to follow TBBT to Thursday. CBS going from a two-hour comedy block on Monday to a one-hour block and now no comedies on the night come November is intersting, that looks like the right place for Supergirl though paired with Scorpion, it's not a 10pm show. Don't know why they bothered to renew CSI: Cyber if they're just throwing it to Sunday 10pm now, it's not a good slot and with only a short season in the bank it would be a long and painful road to syndication! Person of Interest, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly and The Odd Couple all waiting on the bench. CSI is ending with a two hour series finale in September with some original cast members returning. Not seen any word on what they're putting after the Super Bowl, I imagine it might be between Scorpion and Supergirl?
May 14, 201510 yr Author CW MONDAY 8 pm CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND 9 pm Jane the Virgin TUESDAY 8 pm The Flash 9 pm iZombie WEDNESDAY 8 pm Arrow 9 pm Supernatural THURSDAY 8 pm The Vampire Diaries 9 pm The Originals FRIDAY 8 pm Reign 9 pm America’s Next Top Model Not much to say. Think I read Crazy Ex-Girlfriend needs a lot of re-tooling so thought it might've been held back, but they're going for a compatible Monday. The Vampire Diaries and The Originals finally together, they know the former isn't strong enough to bother launching a new show anymore, who knows how far it could fall next season, don't think it can really take losing the lead actress. iZombie probably keeping the timeslot warm for when the new DC show turns up.
May 14, 201510 yr That reads to me to be a very sensible schedule. The CW really are starting to come into their own now I think, ratings are still not great obv but they've moved beyond their niche and are making smarter choices than nearly any other network.
May 14, 201510 yr As big a shame as it is to see the back of gossip girl and hart of Dixie, the cw these days has some really top notch programming. Jane the virgin on e4 is on my too watch list this week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed
