Hope this is more MZW than The Barcelona Sessions. Heroes suggests that it will be.

This better be more "Stand By For..." than MZW.

Pretty much flawless - Miss America, Lively Up Your Monday, Cara Mia, Brother Oh Brother, Dreaming and Work of Art are all *.*

So I just had a listen to Perfectly Damaged. What a horrendously bland album. So disappointed.

Let It Burn is amazing though!

'Fire away'! (Sheppard arranging a lawsuit as we speak)

If anyone has a link-y for this it'd be appreciated. Gonna road test the parents new broadband on monday with some cheeky illegitimate downloads.

I too am underwhelmed. It's more Barcelona Sessions than MZW, I'd like it to pack a bit more punch.

Having said that "Fade Away" is quitce good and a worthy follow-up single. It really feels like a domestic album though, I can't see this doing anything internationally. Still good to have the Eurovision winner's album so soon. At least we didn't have to wait a whole year for it. Mind you, nothing in this album comes close to the fierceness that is "Firestorm".

I'd rather we waited for a year so that he could write something worthy of being called a Winner of ESC's album than that oh hai sweden!!1 compilation of 10 tame tracks he slapped together after Melodifestivalen to cash in regardless of his win in Eurovision. Conchita was way smarter with this. And her album was so much stronger anyway.

Yes that is true, I wish he'd waited a bit longer and cooked up a better album but I don't think Conchita's is a MUCH better album either. Her attempt at worldwide anthems falls a bit short and it's all a bit samey samey bar the watered down House infused uptempo in the middle. I don't think it's an album worthy of the "Winner of Eurovision" tag but then again there hasn't been one in the last decade bar Loreen's.

Maybe I'm too critical.

I haven't heard any Måns songs except 'Cara Mia' and 'Hope & Glory' prior to this album so maybe my expectations are different to yours, but I've just listened to the album on Spotify and I think it is fantastic. I love anthemic dance-pop and that is what the majority of 'Perfectly Damaged' is. I love the folk influences and the house influences and it's exactly what I expected when I read he described the album as electronic but organic.

Initial favourites are possibly 'Live While We're Alive' and 'Fade Away', but I'd happily listen to every single track again. It is very cohesive but very listenable and enjoyable!

I had to listen to this twice because on the first time, the second half of the album just blended into one big 20 minutes worth of BLEH (A word I didn't want to use for a Måns Zelmerlöw post winning Eurovision album). And really it didn't improve on the 2nd time round. 'Heroes' is about 64 country miles ahead of everything else in terms of quality. 'Live While We're Alive' and 'Let It Burn' are quite good but apart from those 3, I won't be coming back to this album time and time again.

Now I must go and cleanse my ears with some MZW.

Måns is coming to the UK for one show of his upcoming European tour, I believe he will be at Heaven, London on September 24th.

A single show :/

Was hoping we might get a Glasgow/Manchester date too. Will see how my finances look when the tickets go on sale. May have to make a pilgrimage to London to see Måns.

It's happening, Tyron and I will be dying, front row.
