GIRLS ALOUD

7 401 No Good Advice - 8-7-

8 390 Something Kinda Ooooh - 12-8-

Something Kinda Ooooh finally manages a top 10 position after missing out last year, which was a huge injustice I think! The track manages a top 3 peak in the chart for the girls, their first since I'll Stand By You at the time, and charted top 5 the week before based on downloads alone. Climbing one place to #7 is No Good Advice, the second single released by the group and their first following their Popstars: The Rivals win, claiming the Christmas #1 with Sound of the Underground.

'Something Kinda Ooh' is deservedly one of their best sellers; huge hook and just Xenomania at their best.

'No Good Advice' is great, always thought Nadine stole the show and love the verses more so than the chorus. Probably not in my Top 10 though.

How scandalous that 'SKO' wasn't Top 10 last time!

It's still about 5 place too low though!

GIRLS ALOUD

5 423 Sexy! No No No… - 5-5-

6 407 Call the Shots - 1-6-

Apologies for the wait for this next section, guys!

Tangled Up might be the fan-favourite album but the highest one of its tracks has made is #5. Last year's #1, Call the Shots, takes a five place drop to #6 this year surprisingly! It falls behind Sexy! No No No... which remains at #5 for a second year running.

OMG slay 'The Show' *.*

Great top 4!

There was a hint at an unexpected winner, and out of the remaining 4, only Untouchable's triumph would surprise me.

GIRLS ALOUD

3 449 The Show - 3-3-

4 445 Sound of the Underground - 6-4-

Very close together now, we have two lead singles from the girls. Sound of the Underground remains their biggest hit in the charts and spent four weeks at #1 in 2002/2003, selling over 600k copies and being their only platinum-certified hit. It climbs two places to #4 this year, but fails to unseat The Show from its #3 position. The Show reached #2 in the charts as the first single from What Will the Neighbours Say? and often seems to get overlooked in favour of some of their bigger hits but it manages a very respectable position of #3 for a second year running!

BIOLOGY vs. UNTOUCHABLE

1 513 Untouchable - 7-1-

2 472 Biology - 2-2-

So we have our winner! Biology is always the bridesmaid, never the bride as it settles at #2 for another year running, not even close to overtaking Untouchable. I must admit, when I saw that Untouchable had won I was totally shocked, it's a brilliant track but not one I thought would win! Nevertheless, it climbs six places to top the buzzchart this year.

Thanks to everyone who participated and I'm glad we FINALLY got these results done
