Is Urban Britney Spears making a more marked return?

 

The Pop diva recently made waves (albeit not on the charts) with Iggy Azalea assisted 'Pretty Girls' and looks set to further dip into the Urban arena with help from DJ Mustard.

Speaking tonight at the Wireless Festival in London, the hitmaker (renown for club anthems such as '2 On' and 'I Don't f*** With U') revealed that he has been in the studio with Spears.

 

He's been a huge part of the Urban / Rhythmic scene the past few years. He's also produced:

Fergie - "L.A. Love (la la)"

Ty Dolla $ign f/ Charli XCX & Tinashe - "Drop That Kitty"

Omarion f/ Chris Brown & Jhené Aiko - "Post to Be"

Kid Ink f/ DeJ Loaf - "Be Real"

We need a decent pop track.

The problem with DJ Mustard productions is they all sound very similar. She needs to find lesser known urban producers.

DJ Mustard is working on a project with Britney Spears.

 

The LA producer exclusively revealed in an interview backstage at Wireless Festival that he's working with the 'Slave 4 U' popstar.

 

"It's crazy, I can't really go too much on it but like it's incredible," Mustard told Max. "I'm a fan of all the greats and she's one of them," he added.

 

"I don't want to be in a box, I don't want to me just a ratchet producer, I want to be everything," the 'Freak Of The Week' producer said.

 

 

"I'm a fan of all the greats, and she's one of them."
