New Rudimental single out on June 4th according to iTunes? Can't tell if that's an error. It would've done next to nothing chart-wise anyways so I guess they may as well just throw it out there ~

I presume so. I don't know any other track by them recently.

Strange that it may get a thursday release? Or maybe its a hottest record they are releasing this thursday as an instant grat from a new album pre order, id say thats more likely the case.

They also own Heart (aka most of what once were the independent commercial stations in south UK) and XFM.

 

I think being signed to Global Management is the only way boybands and girlbands have a hope of getting a hit these days!

I'm not sure where Leona's new single will chart at, the original pre-orders had it in the high-70's directly after release for a good couple of days, then it remained around 250 for a couple of days, then it dropped out never to be seen again. Then it was pushed back, now it's been brought forward, I doubt she's got any promotion lined up for next week, but I can see this peaking around #10

 

She's on ITV's Palladium show this Sunday - I guess that's a big part of why they've brought it forward. She's doing some other TVs and radios in the next couple of weeks too. They've obviously realised they're not going to get any more radio networks on board now so they've just got to put it out.

 

 

There's no way on earth it will get that high now. Maybe low top 100.

Well, when One More Sleep was released, fans only got it to #36 in its first week. and that's with better airplay and with streaming not included. I don't think the Palladium is going to have much effect, it didn't get Will Young top 40.

True but the airplay for OMS would have been slow enough when it was released as it was only around dec 1st?

How has this happened? Are Rixton actually potentially looking at a top 20 hit?

Rixton are such turn-offs.

 

I can't see Leona getting into the top 40, but hopefully she will!

There must surely be some kind of payola going on with Rixton, especially after what happened with their second single like 9 months ago and it looking like they'd been sunk.

I would say top 10 personally (though I did think Wait On Me would get there so I may be wrong)
