I thought this was really lovely and sweet, despite the basic story. Tbh, my sentiments pretty much align with everything Haus said. The moment where

they get sticks and show each other their families

really got to me and was the turning point in the film in which I thought "you know what, it's actually a really lovely film". It's nowhere near the heights of 'Finding Nemo'/'Up'/'Toy Story' etc... but it's a decent effort and for what it's worth, I found it a lot better than 'Brave' which is still, firmly untouched as my least favourite.

 

I cried about 3 times during the film and when

Arlo showed Spot that he found his new family

that's it. I was GONE until the end. Extremely touching and a very beautiful take on how important family is. Even if it was all "seen it all before".
