June 11, 201510 yr Author I still hope Taylor squeezes in another week or two at #1. It's hard because of the gulf in airplay between her and Wiz, but in any case she's been gaining steadily and radio will go at its own pace. The only way for her to go #1 again in the foreseeable future (ie. before she overtakes Wiz on airplay, which won't happen for some time) is if Wiz begins rapidly dropping in sales, and I thought any appeal the song had would disappear come June (because who WANTS to hear a literal dirge all summer) but...I guess not. June 11, 201510 yr Author Chart HighlightsWiz Khalifa's "See You Again" rules the Hot 100 for an eighth week. It leads Radio Songs for a third week and falls to #2 on Streaming Songs after eight weeks at #1. According to Billboard, the song becomes the 11th rap song (tracks that charted on Hot Rap Songs, as they defined it) to spend at least eight weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. The two longest-reigning songs on the list are Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and The Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow", both of which spent 12 weeks at #1. And as "Boom Boom Pow" was the most recent song on the list, that means "See You Again" is the longest-leading rap song (broadly speaking) in over six years.Andy Grammer's "Honey, I'm Good." skips two places to #9, becoming the singer's first top-ten hit. The song ranks at #4 on Digital Songs after selling 117,000 downloads last week. Not much shakeup below the top 10, aside from one new top-40 entry courtesy of Echosmith's "Bright", which gives the band their second hit in the region.Debuts: Eminem's "Phenomenal", from the Southpaw soundtrack, is this week's highest debut at #47; the song debuts at #12 on Digital Songs. Below Em, we see a curious debut: How I Became the Bomb's "Ulay Oh" debuts at #58. I've tried to figure out why; it appears its video suddenly went viral (#25 on streaming), as it reuses the old footage of Marina Abramović meeting Ulay in her The Artist Is Present performance piece. Then it appears a bunch of Upworthy-ish media outlets picked up on it, using the band's video. (22 Years Ago, This Couple Went Their Separate Ways. Watch How They Reunite In This Incredibly Touching Video.) :arrr: Anyway: a third song from A$AP Rocky's At.Long.Last.A$AP, "Everyday", debuts on the chart at #92, returning featured singer Rod Stewart to the Hot 100 after 17 years. Meanwhile, Tech N9ne's "Hood Go Crazy" debuts at #96, the rapper's first charting hit in his career of nearly 20 years. Edited June 11, 201510 yr by dhwe

June 11, 201510 yr Jesus Christ at All About That Bass ONLY NOW dropping out. Who on earth is STILL LISTENING to that?!
June 12, 201510 yr Meanwhile, Tech N9ne's "Hood Go Crazy" debuts at #96, the rapper's first charting hit in his career of nearly 20 years. 20 years! Next time someone on Buzzjack tells some female pop star to "give up" just because she's released a few singles and none of them have gone top 40... Artists should never give up.

June 13, 201510 yr Dear radio can you please start playing 'Fight Song' more. It's doing incredible for not being top 50 in radio and 32 on Pop. It was only 2.1% behind Taylor 12 hours ago but weekend effect has helped Taylor extend the lead back to 9% :(
June 14, 201510 yr SO relieved to see 'Bright' make the top 40, it feels like a much bigger hit based on how much I've heard it, but looked like it was gonna fall short. I'm so glad Echosmith have managed two top 40 hits. 'Shut Up And Dance' stalling at #4 is frustrating, I'm obvs thrilled at the success but it's sooo close to the top 3!!
June 14, 201510 yr 'Budapest' is turning into quite the sleeper hit. I can see it making the Top 100 Year-End even if it doesn't crack Top 20 at this rate.
