October 31, 20195 yr Author My excitement is sky high. La Roux and Trouble In Paradise defined YEARS for me over this past decade. I am uncontrollably excited we are getting a new era.
October 31, 20195 yr Author Very fun! It would fit perfectly in Trouble in Paradise; like a mix between Uptight Downtown and Kiss and Not Tell. I would've liked another chorus to hit during the final instrumental, but apart from that, I love it!
October 31, 20195 yr Author Tour dates are also out! Only one UK date (London) :/ guess this will be the first ever La Roux tour that I can't make. Seen her 3 times and gutted I'll be missing out on this.
November 2, 20195 yr Author Great interview about the new era and where she's been over the past 5 years. Also sheds light on the time before Trouble in Paradise: https://www.dazeddigital.com/music/article/...impression=true
December 4, 20195 yr Really looking forward to the new album I have to say, enjoyed everything so far.
February 10, 20205 yr Author #8 in the first midweeks :cheer: On my first listen through - 'Do You Feel' is the ONE !!!! Why wasn't this the lead single?
February 10, 20205 yr #8 in the first midweeks :cheer: On my first listen through - 'Do You Feel' is the ONE !!!! Why wasn't this the lead single? Shame it will prob drop outside the top 15. Edited February 10, 20205 yr by Feel_The_Fever
February 12, 20205 yr Author I love the album. It's such a joyous listen. If the debut and Trouble in Paradise are 10/10s, this is an 8/10. Solid but doesn't make the dizzying highs of the two before it. Still, it's a keeper!
February 21, 20205 yr Author Automatic Driver is one of her most beautiful songs to date. How did it pass me by when released as a promo single? The album is so joyous. She is obviously is a better place right now and it shows. All 3 albums ugh, her MIND.
April 17, 20205 yr Author Automatic Driver gets a remix (well more a reworking) with Tyler, The Creator *.*
April 28, 20205 yr Author Over time, 'Automatic Driver' has risen into TOP-TIER Roux songs. It challenges material from the first two eras. The "I wanted to start a revolution with you" lyric cuts me every time, what a vibe. The Tyler reworking has grown on me exponentially too, a jam. I still keep returning to the album too - she really did create a third masterpiece.
