July 1, 201510 yr Brilliant debut for Selegend *.* Hopefully it can go top 5 on Billboard when airplay rises a bit etc., or at least have a decent run in the top 10!
July 1, 201510 yr Bad Blood or Cheerleader need to get (back) to #1 next week. 11 weeks is just too much.
July 2, 201510 yr Author Chart Highlights Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" remains at #1 for an 11th week. It tops Radio Songs for a sixth week with 163 million in audience impressions, while on Digital Songs it slides to #7 with 98,000 downloads sold. The song drops by 8% in overall activity, while Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" drops by 4%, narrowing the gap between both songs. We see a clear-out in the bottom half of the top 10 this week, as three new songs make their way into the region. The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" jumps to #6 while earning Digital and Airplay Gainer honors, giving the singer his third top-10 hit. On Digital Songs, the song moves up to #5 with 116,000 downloads sold, and on Radio Songs, it rises to #10 with 78 million in audience impressions. Below The Weeknd, Silento marks his first top-10 appearance with "Watch Me" at #7. The viral hit enters the Digital Songs top 10 at #8 with 97,000 downloads sold, and makes its Pop Songs debut at #40. And at #9, Selena Gomez debuts with "Good for You", the highest debut of the week and of her career. The song is her third top-10 and A$AP Rocky's second. It debuts at #1 on Digital Songs with 179,000 downloads sold.Further Down: Two new songs enter the top 40 this week. Jidenna's "Classic Man" flies to #34 with Streaming Gainer honors, giving Jidenna and Roman GianArthur their first top-40 hits. The song debuts at #34 on Streaming Songs, leaps to #38 on Digital Songs, and debuts on Pop Songs at #39. Below Jidenna, Pitbull's "Fun" surges to #40, giving Pitbull his 23rd top-40 and Chris Brown his 39th. The song ranks at #29 on Digital Songs. Below the top 40, Janet debuts at #67 with "No Sleeep", her first charted hit since "Feedback" in 2008. The track debuts at #35 on Digital Songs and on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at #27. Finally, Flo Rida's "I Don't Like It, I Love It" debuts at #74, along with a #47 debut on Digital Songs. In addition to Robin Thicke, the song features Earth, Wind & Fire bassist Verdine White, who makes his first appearance on the Hot 100 since Earth, Wind & Fire's "Sunday Morning" charted at #53 in 1993.
July 2, 201510 yr How much longer is Wiz likely to remain #1? 11 weeks there for what outwardly doesn't seem like a very significant song (admittedly from the perspective of someone who does not live in the USA)... Good to see Selena debuting in the top 10 and The Weeknd climbing in! Maroon 5 still surprisingly low, is their stranglehold on the US charts finally over?? (Probably not)

Good to see Selena debuting in the top 10 and The Weeknd climbing in! Maroon 5 still surprisingly low, is their stranglehold on the US charts finally over?? (Probably not) I honestly thought Wiz was finally gonna fall off this week, but I'm confident it'll happen next week. And yeah, I agree that the song feels like it's bigger than it should be. I think it's one of those songs that just became big by default, as it's inoffensive enough to be liked by a lot of people. And re: Maroon 5, I think "TSGH" might be the song that will break their top-10 streak tbh. Edited July 2, 201510 yr by dhwe
July 2, 201510 yr Author Isn't that Janet's highest charting single since "Feedback"?? Yeah, in fact it's her only charting single since "Feedback".
