I like the tracks but most of them are hip hop/R&B and they have no place on such a compilation :rolleyes:

 

I wonder are any of those dance remixes, if not, has MOS ever had so many non-dance songs on an annual before? :o A lot of them are good songs and I like many of the R&B/hip hop based songs on this (even Chris and Kem :ph34r: ) but yeah The Annual should be about dance I think.

 

I agree with gooddelta and I think there should be more underground/possible future hits on it.

Ministry Of Sound aren't even trying anymore. That just looks like a limited effort NOW spin-off compilation (also lol at the continuation of Queen only appearing on compilations if they're track 1 disc 1)

No Trans X - Living on Video in electronic 80s :( Sharpe and Numan - Change Your Mind (#17 UK March 1985) should have been included too especially because in terms of style it sounds a bit like the Disciples' style of music.

 

Plus the Kim Wilde one should have been her cover of 'You Keep Me Hanging On' which is much less cheesy and more dancey than 'Kids In America' as well as a great tune imo :music: .

For Gary Numan as I was saying Bill Sharpe and Gary Numan - Change Your Mind would have been perfect as it charted in March 1985 plus sounds a bit proto-deep house in style to my ears too.

 

Another one that should have been included is Underpass - John Foxx (#31 UK 1980) especially as the synths in the drop do sound they could be in a progressive house/trance track.
