Posted July 9, 201510 yr R835xzHiLlY Jedward were first seen on The X Factor in 2009. At 17 years of age, they were still at school, and, unlike most contestants, had no performing experience. Now, 6 years on, they have performed headline tours and music festivals all over the world, and are now writing and producing their own material, which they release independently, via their own PlanetJedward label. Having split from their former manager, they now have complete creative control of their career, even producing their own music videos. They have released three self Penned singles so far, Free Spirit, Ferocious and Make Your Own Luck, and are now set to release a fourth. 'Oh Hell No'. This is a different sound for the duo, taking its main influence from trap music, and has been written for the soundtrack of the syfy spoof horror movie 'Sharknado 3: Oh hell No!' in which John and Edward have a cameo role. I hope I have posted this in the correct section, I am usually just an ardent lurker of these forums, but I like this track enough for me to feel compelled to share it.
July 9, 201510 yr Two words for them 'Oh GOD no' :) That's 3. :P But seriously though, who is still allowing them to try and inflict themselves on us?!
July 10, 201510 yr Author That's 3. :P But seriously though, who is still allowing them to try and inflict themselves on us?! As I said, the lads are independent, so nobody is 'allowing' then to do anything. They have stepped back a little from the image and media hype created by their former manager. They have a large international fanbase, which is expanding, and with which they are now trying to interact in a more organic way. 'Oh Hell No!' is a slight departure from the kind of music they have been writing, but their three previous releases have been very well recieved. Despite almost no promotion or AirPlay, due to issues with their former manager, their track, Ferocious , which was written about the bullying they have been subject to, both at school, and in the media, was their highest Irish chart entry for a number of years, and Free Spirit was voted the track of 2014 by a large ESC website. QO22g06Ym0I 'Make Your Own Luck' sums up their whole attitude to life really. Anyway enjoy your day everyone, it's back to lurking for me I think :) NmAdm3um9QE
July 12, 201510 yr They seem to have gone off the radar, here in Ireland they were huge to be fair to them and their singles and albums done well and they had sell out tours, i rarely hear of them of now or see them in the charts. Im not a fan of them but i did enjoy both their Eurovision entries.

Im not a fan of them but i did enjoy both their Eurovision entries. They've been working in America, writing and recording music, trying out different sounds. They have also recently modelled for John Paul Gaultier. They wrote 'Oh Hell No' for a movie soundtrack, but their latest single, 'Leave A Mark' which will be released on 14th, has a totally different sound. XmA1Pq7CjmM .
