Thinking out loud and king were both ok at one point but both have been overplayed they are both absolutely awful now, more so in thinking out loud's case

Yes, 'King'! One of the best number 1s of the year. Pop at its finest. I hope 'Shine' can go on to sell nearly as well - Hopefully entering the top 40 at the end of the year! :heart:

There's a solution to overplaying. Don't listen to the radio or watch music television.

King :wub: is looking to become an all-time favourite for me.

I wouldn't call King pop in the traditional sense. It's doesn't even have major chords.

Yeah, it's not pure pop, like Carly Rae for example, but it is pop. I class it as electro-indie pop, to be specific. They even refer to their music as pop themselves.

I love fourfiveseconds but it really didn't feel anywhere near this big :heart:

FourFiveSeconds is absolutely tedious, so dull and boring.

FourFiveSeconds did grow on me eventually. But then it got boring again, quite fast.
