July 13, 20159 yr OMI :cheer: about time too now hopefully it stays at #1 for a while because it's a lot lot better than The Weeknd
July 13, 20159 yr I'm excited that Cheerleader is Ultra Records' first no. 1 on the Hot 100! They've pretty much been THE dance music label in the US for the last 15 years.
July 14, 20159 yr I'm excited that Cheerleader is Ultra Records' first no. 1 on the Hot 100! They've pretty much been THE dance music label in the US for the last 15 years. I wonder why billboard still considers it a reggae song, clearly its the remix that's had success
July 20, 20159 yr Author sorry guys, i posted the full chart on thursday but i never bumped the thread with highlights/sales figures/etc bc i was away doing stuff all week but i'll do it now before the new chart is announced.
July 20, 20159 yr Author Chart HighlightsTracking Period: Billboard transitions into its new tracking period, necessitated by the Global Release Day, with a one-time-only 11-day tracking week for sales. This week's chart reflects the sales from last week's chart as well as the sales from the following four days (July 6-9). The airplay and streaming tracking periods remain in a 7-day span: July 6-12 for airplay and July 3-9 for streaming. Going forward, sales and streaming will be tracked from Friday-Thursday while airplay will be tracked from Monday-Sunday.OMI ushers in the new tracking period with his first chart-topper, "Cheerleader". The extra four days of sales push the track to 276,000 downloads sold, enabling it to top Digital Songs for a second week with the Digital Gainer honor. Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again", meanwhile, slides to #2.The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" pushes to #3, giving The Weeknd his second top-5 hit. The song keeps the Airplay Gainer honor as it rises to #5 on Radio Songs with 110 million in audience impressions. The song sold an extra 74,000 downloads from July 6-9, pushing its total up to 202,000 and allowing it to stay at #2 on Digital Songs. Meanwhile, it tops On-Demand Songs with 5.7 million streams.Further Down: One new song makes its way into the top 20: Fetty Wap's "679" flies to #19 with the Streaming Gainer honor. It blasts 26 spots to #17 on Streaming Songs with 6.1 million streams. From July 6-9, the song sold an additional 51,000 downloads, pushing its total to 137,000; that figure essentially reflects it first 11 days on sale, but for the purposes of this week's chart, it keeps at #7 on Digital Songs after debuting there last week. Below Fetty, a lone track enters the top 40: Fall Out Boy's "Uma Thurman" jumps 3 spots to #39, giving the band their ninth top-40 hit. The song ranks at #27 on Digital Songs. Finally, because of the irregular sales tracking period, this week's chart is bereft of debuts, as 7 of the 11 days reflected in this chart were already reflected in last week's chart. Most of the songs that debut this week bubbled under last week and were likely given a boost by an extra four days on sale (see: another two Meek Mill tracks charting off the Dreams Worth More Than Money release). The one exception is Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's "Love Is Your Name", which is the highest-debuting song this week at #75. The only component chart it debuts on is Streaming Songs at #43, so it appears to have been boosted by its video premiere on July 3.

Why can't they track these from Friday to thursday as well? So new releases get their airplay kicked in imediately
