Also from 2006 (and genuinely one of the most surprising #1's ever IMO) it's My Chemical Romance with their only #1 single Welcome To The Black Parade. This also ranks among my all time faves as it is a truly epic anthem

Big dance track from 2009 this was Kelly Rowland's second #1 & David Guetta's first of many.

Really clutching at straws with this category, #1 current rock song of which I imagine this is the only track in the whole top 100 that fits the bill. Peaked just outside the top 50.

Which leaves us with the current official #1 Marvin Gaye. It's both artists' second #1 & they face competition from Jess Glynne this coming week to retain top spot.

Swear they played this in a previous week but whatever. Tinie's grand entrance that has definitely stood the test of time thus far. Big tune :music:

John Newman's 2nd #1 & first as a solo artist from 2 years ago. Had a further chart-topper with Calvin Harris last year.

This Calvin Harris produced track helped Cheryl earn her 3rd #1 as a solo artist back in 2012.

Huge track from late 2012 that eventually topped the chart here the following January. You really couldn't escape this one...

First single & #1 from the Sheffield outfit. Got in there in a period where rock/indie was doing relatively well & had a second chart-topper the following year.

'Apparently' the current #1 Dance single(which it isn't it should be Don't Be So Hard On Yourself) & the Streaming chart #1. Still in with a chance of possibly topping the main chart in the upcoming weeks.

Miley's first #1 and in fact top ten single here from Summer 2013. She would double her #1 tally only a few months later.

Lady Gaga's first #1 from 2009. She would dominate the pop scene for a year or so unlike the featured bloke but nowadays she has faded away whilst artists like Jeremih are stealing the limelight...

This was David Guetta's fifth #1 and so far Sia's only (did you know that Mary J Blige was the original vocalist on this song? :jameela: ). This took approximately 2 years to eventually conquer the global charts one by one.

Big song from Summer last year from the Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz, the first UK #1 from that country since a-Ha back in the eighties. Definitely have the feel of a one hit wonder...

The current official #1. Her record-equaling feat has been widely documented and appraised on this Forum so I'll just leave you with the vid. Faces competition from Rachel Platten, Felix Jaehn & the current #2 & #3 to retain top spot.

P.S. All hail the Queen of Music & saviour to the charts, already matching Cheryl's record soon to break it before the year's even out at this rate... :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
