TEAM KATYA ALL THE WAY and I have been since the beginning. That Alaska meltdown was just so unattractive.

Also is the next episode the last? Or can we drop Roxxxy before the final?

 

The next episode is the last but they said they filmed 3 crownings so Ru maybe kicks one queen off? Lake, ChiChi, Kennedy style?

I really hope Ru takes into account the fans and the fact Katya is iconic. Alaska only dreams to even WISH to be 1/10 like her. Bye

Katya just wasn't that lucky with lip syncs (they were still really good, she always does Katya on stage) but she really was consistent in her overall performance just like Alaska. The anus joke can indeed only get you that far. I find Katya much funnier. I am living for her sound bites every episode. She has the Jinkx factor and is my top 2 ever alongside her so I shall be stanning Katya all day every day even if it means throwing Alaska under the bus. I mean the latter doesn't have a problem doing that to her competition after all.

No it's not. I agree with Pav. Alaska has had plenty of amazing moments but she's had a free ride. And the crown shouldn't go to an entitled acting brat.

In the Thelma and Louise sequel, Katya got great feedback, did a really funny performance, but still wound up bottom 2, if Alaska had given the exact same performance, she would have been top 2. Katya has been just as consistent as Alaska.

I just feel like RuPaul wants Alaska to win.

 

I repeat, I really want Katya to win as much as you and Pavel.

THIS EPISODE. Was there a single flaw from any of the four queens, besides Roxxxy's singing bit being a bit dodgy? It made it impossible to be mad with any result (okay, maybe Roxxxy would've been a pisstake).

 

Sure, I wish Katya had won it but I took Alaska back into my heart tonight because for the most part she is a f***ing talented queen above anything else. Her final speech was hilarious whereas Katya made me cry - both fantastic in two different ways. And Detox would've been deserving aswell, even though it seemed to be pinned as a two horse race.

 

That last performance with them all was superb and this has hands down been the best Drag Race series I've ever watched. Every challenge, every twist, every turn, the drama off the screen, on the screen. Just everywhere, there'll be SUCH a whole in my Thursday nights now with this gone but it's given so much to look back on. What a show this has become :wub:

i agree rob, as much as i would've loved katya to win alaska WAS the winner of the series - diva tantrums and all really! i think she completely hit it out of the park so i cannot be mad at all.

 

detox i think really showed how great a person she is during the season (actually extremely likeable and not as smug as on her season) and roxxxy got the rudemption she needed so everyone came out of it with exactly what they needed i think

 

shame katya got NO MONEY!!! out of the lipsync or final prize pot ffs

And yeah I pretty much agree about Alaska winning. Whilst last week I was all "boo she can't win", tonight just proved her immense, pretty much flawless, talent. I suppose it depends how you look at it, the top 3 all had their flawless aspects. Detox slayed the fashion, Katya slayed the likeability and Alaska slayed the talent and challenges. I think really all 3 deserved to win, and I wouldn't have begrudged any of them. All Alaska really did was melt down once and get a bit cocky, she's hardly Phi Phi O'Hara. It'scertainly nothing to discredit the amount of challenges she slayed and the amount of innovation she brought to the competition etc. I was Team Katya SO much so right now I am undeniably disappointed she didn't win after such a journey and so much growth and being so likeable, but equally I can't be mad with Alaska winning. Some of the online reactions are ridiculous :lol:

 

All in all I'm just happy the season was so amazing, I think it may be my fave too! There was such a high standard, so much drama, and it always kept me gripped. Even moreso, the talent was incredible, I feel like everyone jacked up their game and there weren't resllt many huge huge misfires, plus there was a beautiful sense of respect between all the queens (except Phi Pni but we couldn't have had the series without her drama :kink:), which they all deserved really because everyone brought something unique and amazing I feel.

Alaska's "I'm the best drag queen" & cringe winning speech were just no-no from me.

 

Katya deserved the crown, but blah, it was fixed from the moment AS2 were going to happen, which is sad but yeah.

 

+ This will be great now all queens will spoil the seasons knowing nothing will happen to them
