Heard this out in Croatia a few weeks back and absolutely loved it - sounds like something that should/could be huge in the UK. I'm hoping it'll just be a delayed hit rather than one of those European hits that never crosses over to the UK.

It does sound like a hit, but you never know over here - the UK's taste in hits tends to be a bit different. Would be great if it did become one - it would prevent Madcon from one-hit wonder status 7 years after their previous hit!

Just getting reports that Cilla Black has passed away at the age of 72. :o Cilla for a surprise number 1 with 'Anyone who had a heart' in a mark of respect please.

5. Joe Stone - The Party (This Is How We Do It) [feat. Montell Jordan]

10. Silento - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

18. Joe Weller - Wanna Do (feat. Emil)

27. Duke Dumont - Ocean Drive

30. Jess Glynne - Why Me

37. Major Lazer - Powerful (feat. Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley)

74. Rudimental - I Will For Love (feat. Will Heard)

Yes, Cilla has passed away. I wouldn't be at all suprised to see a big surge in sales for her, as many reports will be playing her music or clips of her singing. Natural causes apparently, but I'm still a bit shocked. She seemed extremely healthy for her age. Shame.

It's been a long time since there's been a non-charity #1 that's contained an artist *older* than I am.

I think the last was 'Thunder In My Heart Again' by Meck & Leo Sayer in Feb 1986!

Surely you mean Feb 2006? I was confused there for a second, Leo Sayer wasn't even old in 1986

355 & 1375. Cilla Black- Anyone Who Had A Heart

693. Cilla Black- You're My World

Much sad news today following the passing of her. Hoping that 'Anyone Who Had A Heart' can make at least Top40 on Friday as a mark of respect for her.

Still not sold on the Jeremih song unfortunately, although the Flo Rida feature perhaps in dictated which direction the song was going in  His run of hits in the last 12 months has been pleasing to see.

Surprised Duke Dumont is so high and Rudimental so low. Rudimental still haven't released that killer song yet, although Never Let You Go was very good. Many people are getting tired of the Drum & Bass formula though.

Joe Stone top 5 :cheer:

Yep, 2006 - shows just how old I'm getting. :P

Joe Weller is up to 6 now!

Top-10 is so fresh at the moment, especially if Silentl replaces LF at #10. And this was expected as a very dead week!

Yes! Joe Weller now number 4. :cheer:

I watched Wanna Do's video and I loved it!

With those positions it doesn't look likely. Though maybe a campaign would help.

He's so HOT. I like.

He was 37 years old in February 1986, you can decide for yourself whether that counts as old.

Off the top of my head, I reckon the last credited artist on a (non-charity) Number One older than me was David Guetta just under a year ago. I haven't checked all that though.
