As we skip Break It Off featuring Sean De Paul cause don't nobody know that song and it wasn;t even a UK single either, we've got Rihanna's signature track until We Found Love came around. Discuss Umbrella and share your memories :D

Truly amazing song  definitely one of her best. It doesn't seem to have gotten old since :D

Came at such a pivotal part of my life. It was one of the anthems around the time I turned the big ONE EIGHT, 18!

Such a classic and genuinely/rightfully so, too!

Truly amazing song, a deserved classic. It's a shame it was released during a sales lull as it really deserves to have a sold a million.

This was the song that made Rihanna more than the basic popgirl she was up until then.

Umbrella followed by the 1-2-punch that was Shut Up And Drive/Please Don't Stop The Music solidified her superstardom.

If it wasn't for Umbrella I think we wouldn't be here right now.

The song itself hasn't aged at all on me. It still sounds so fresh and amazing

This was a absolute classic. Still one of the most defining songs in my opinion. 10 weeks at #1. That won't happen for a long time.

Yeah, especially with streaming and how things are bought etc. nowadays I doubt this sort of run will ever happen again!

A 10 week run at UK #1 will never happen again for the next 20 years or so.

My favourite Rihanna song by a MILE and one of my all-time favourites too, was obsessed at the time and have loads of great memories with it  She has yet to come even close to topping this imo.
