During the next month or so, I'll be counting down my Top100 songs of the 00s in my opinion.

I have picked 10 songs from each year to be included on this. 10 from 2000 and so on until 2009.

So stay tuned and enjoy the countdown.

This song from the soundtrack to Spiderman. This probably a unpopular choice. But this song was amazing. It won Best Music Video at the 2002 Music Video Awards for Best Video of the Film.

At #98. We have this from The Fratellis. This is a great song from them. Of course I know this song very well as its used by the PDC at the end of the match or interval during ITV4 darts coverage and also by Chelsea football club I believe. Quite a sexy music video with the woman. Very nice.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE- CRY ME A RIVER

First song in the Top100 for Justin Timberlake. This was a fantastic tune indeed. Become his third #2 after 'Like I Love You and 'Rock Your Body'. I thought when Timbaland said "The damage is done, I guess I'll be leaving' it was "The cabbages" for some odd reason. A memorable music video this.

NE-YO- CLOSER

2008

#1

The first #1 in this countdown. This was to become Ne-Yo's second UK #1. One of my favourite songs from him. From his recent songs that he's done it's definitely not a patch on 'Closer'.

Very good so far! Hero, Chelsea Dagger, Fallin' and Closer are big faves of mine :D

Definitely her defining song. She was only 13 when she sang this. Definitely a song back in my childhood where everyone seemed to talk about this record.

Love the 'Move On Up' sample this Kanye used and the cameo from Pamela Anderson and the ode to Evel Knievel. Brilliant tune this was from Kanye.

This was all about girl power in that music video. Just got touched off for #1 by 'Just Lose It'. Should've been a UK #1 for them for sure.

So many good songs here mate!

Love Cry Me A River, Ayo Technology, Hate It Or Love It, Touch The Sky, Closer, Let Me Blow Ya Mind & Lose My Breath.

Songs like Leave (Get Out) & Hollaback Girl sound nostaglic now. High hopes for the rest of this :)
