FIFTH HARMONY ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM ‘PRAY UP (STAY BLESSED)’ FOR 2016 RELEASE. KIND OF.

 

Fifth Harmony have announced that they are to begin recording their second studio album next month and it may or may not be named ‘Pray Up (Stay Blessed)’. Hint: It’s not. Here come more awards.

 

Although the girls don’t even have one song written or recorded yet, we’re sure that the second album will have just as many #bangerz as their first.

 

The work on the new album was revealed in an interview with 98.5 KLUC radio station in Las Vegas where the band were promoting their Summer Reflection Tour and Hotel Transylvania 2 single ‘I’m In Love With a Monster’.

 

For all the goss on ‘Pray Up (Stay Blessed)’, why the girls will never ever propose to a guy and why Dinah Jane will never pay for a date.

 

EXCITING! Hopefully the album is released next year but I hope they contribute to some of the writing for this one because the tracks they co-wrote on Better Together were incredible!

I don't really see the need to start a thread for this just yet considering they have not even started recording a single song yet for there next album and they will most likely be releasing another single for their current album :lol:

Although I am surprised, I am sure in the Reflection thread at some point there was talk of a re-release?

Lets talk about their soundtrack single, 'I'm In Love With A Monster' (for 'Hotel Transylvania 2') instead.

 

 

I don't want this cheap Stooshe sound for the 2nd era though. Please don't be successful just so they don't go down that route for the album. :P (Even if the song itself is alright).

Also they are massively hinting at a European tour with the hashtag #5HEuropeanAnnouncement and their snapchat stories! :o

I'm In Love With A Monster is a huge step back for them. They were just starting to be taken seriously with Sledgehammer and Worth It and then they release a horrible Disney-esque music video. Also dead at Lauren wearing Alexandra Stan's hand-me-downs in the single artwork.

I wouldn't expect a video associated with Hotel Transylvania to be serious. I just think it's odd that they would sign on to do that while seemingly trying to go in a more mature direction.

But there is a different demographic between IILWAM and Better Together/Reflection are aimed at so it's not detrimental to their image per say, just like when they covered Mariah just before Christmas.

 

On that note, their European tour seems like such a waste of time. Although in the video on the first page of the post they did say they were recording their new album, so unless they are using some time before, after or during the tour to record over here?

Their pre-sale sold out in like 5 minutes. They are tiny venues though.

I'm shocked you could remember them considering all those celebrities you've "met".

I guess I can officially give up hope of 'Sledgehammer' ever getting a UK release. :(

 

Still firmly believe it should've been the UK release/X-Factor performance instead of 'Bo$$'.
