Coca-Cola are issuing a Free song on iTunes.

 

Are these free tracks been added to the overall sales :unsure:

That was the reason for the c**k up in the mids last week, where the killers had 19k in sales by thursday, but had only gone up to 20k by sunday, the sales must have been added and then the mistake noted, hence the change in the chart by sunday.

I thought so, why the sudden fall in The Killers last Sunday, when I saw their sales

I guessed there must have been some kind of promotion. Didn't Elton John chart high on downloads once because of a text-based competition that also included a 'free download', but presumably wasn't counted as free as you had to pay a pound or so for the text.

Elton John's single - Electricity was counted, they not sure if they where free, but in some way they where tied to a promotion. The rules where changes shortly afterwards to stop this happening.
