September 13, 20159 yr Lee's commentary TOTTO IS A CLUELESS bast*rd WHO DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE REGARDING MUSIC.
September 13, 20159 yr Author 5. What About Us -6YLi0GNBTk Score: 9.259 Highest Score: 11 x 2 (Lee, Juliano) Lowest Score: 4 x 1 (Joe) Kickstarting our Top 5 is What About Us. Is anyone else surprised that this isn't Top 3? I feel like the more time that goes by the less people loon over this song, but I'm certain it'll always be a favorite as it's one of their best songs and of course their best performing. I always thought it would be cool if the Pussycat Dolls collaborated with Sean Paul and of course it never happened, so when the Sats did I was pleasantly surprised. I believe this could've become a hit in America had they promoted properly but we all know how that turned out. Oh well, at least it gave them their first number one (and a massive one at that), although I can't help but wonder if they would've continued trying after What About Us had it not reached the top of the charts? In addition to getting two 11s from Lee and Juliano, What About Us also got a whopping sixteen 10s and is the first song to get above a 9 average.
September 13, 20159 yr Lee's commentary TOTTO IS A CLUELESS bast*rd WHO DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE REGARDING MUSIC. Lick my pussy tbh.
September 13, 20159 yr Author 4. Ego Umag84Fqk4I Score: 9.315 Highest Score: 11 x 1 (April) Lowest Score: 6.5 x 1 (Mike Sugafan) With one 11 from April and fifteen 10s we have Ego at #4. I remember not loving this at first but now it’s one of my favorite songs and is an absolute classic. Vanessa's vocals on that middle eight are everything. Ego is critically acclaimed and gave us one of their best music videos to date. It also secured their careers after Forever Is Over got the Wordshaker era off to a rough start. This is their second highest selling song only behind What About Us and I believe it will go Gold eventually.
September 13, 20159 yr EGO IS SO f***ING OVERRATED. WHAT ABOUT US >>> EGO. Best thing you've said all day.
September 13, 20159 yr Author #3 AND #2 HAD THE SAME SCORE We’ll put this one at #3 because it got less 11s, had a lower lowest score, and it fared worse in the charts. Is it Disco Love that’s in the air? Or is Not Giving Up giving up? Or maybe All Fired Up is cooling down? 3. Not Giving Up gBoXld4URfk Score: 9.352 Highest Score: 11 x 1 (SpinningAdam) Lowest Score: 6 x 1 (Johnkm) At #3, and tied with #2, we have Not Giving Up. This is such a great song that they really slept on and should've released way sooner and as a pre-album release (or they could've, you know, not waited six months after Disco Love to release it). Carl Ryden really showed us what he's made of with this track as it's an absolute banger. I love everything about it and even though the video could've been better executed, it's still incredibly cool. The live performances on the other hand were downright embarrassing. Although this has sold very little and barely made the Top 20, it's still managed to garner more YouTube views than many of their more successful singles.
September 13, 20159 yr just no. purple version yr-t96XyYfs omg the girls look so hot in this video  Edited September 13, 20159 yr by Adam's Stories😍
September 13, 20159 yr I wish Not Giving Up was performed during festival season (In place of Gentleman ofcourse), even Wildfire instead. That really would have helped... not that it helped Gentleman.
September 13, 20159 yr Author 2. Disco Love LmncQGy_7Lk Score: 9.352 Highest Score: 11 x 2 (Acidburn, NickF1) Lowest Score: 6.5 x 1 (Mike Sugafan) Well, it really pains me to say that Disco Love is NOT your #1 song in the countdown. Disco Love, their most recent hit, ties Not Giving Up with an average of 9.352. This is the sound the Saturdays should really be sticking with if they ever want to get another hit, with a dance single or ballad single here and there. This is lush in every aspect. It’s sad that Frankie wasn’t a part of this campaign but I’m glad it actually performed well, selling around 150k copies and only sort of sinking like a rock instead of totally sinking like a rock. They actually gave us some great performances on Surprise Surprise, Stepping Out, and Sunday Brunch to name a few. 1. All Fired Up KdtIfp7WB0w Score: 9.444 Highest Score: 11 x 3 (Jay, Tim, HausofKubrick) Lowest Score: 6 x 1 (NickF1) And there you have it. Just like in the last ultimate rate, All Fired Up snatches the crown. This got three 11s and 15 10s! Sort of how many of you feel about Wildfire, I think this is a tad overrated on this forum. It’s a banger, no doubt, but is a little too much and I’ve always found it to be a bit of a racket. Anyway, All Fired Up made it to #1 on iTunes for a short time and went on to be certified Silver which was much needed after Notorious failed to accomplish the same (until recently :cheer:). I love the Xenomania production and the unconventional structure of the song. Molluna’s part and Una’s “gibby on your raider” are the highlights for me and the music video and live performances really brought the song to the next level. Well that’s it guys. Thanks everyone for your participation in both the rate and the results. I’m so glad we received 27 rates and we’ve managed to reach 20 pages with the results. Also big thanks to Hurricane and Lee for their contributions to this and Totto for his special appearance. Until next time! http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lr60y45bO91qa9n4vo1_500.gif
September 13, 20159 yr AFU is great but not really #1 worthy imo. And Disco Love should ideally be low top 5 imo.
September 13, 20159 yr Disco Love should have been #1. It's kinda underwhelming to see AFU take the crown. It's a great song and the video is possibly their most decent though.
September 13, 20159 yr Amazing top 2! Wish Disco Love had love but it's great to see All Fired up getting some love. What About Us Ha flop. Amazing work on the rate guys! very much enjoyed.
September 13, 20159 yr Ew. AFU is their most overrated track. 'Disco Love' and 'Ego' should've been the top 2 out of the top 5! These results in general have been a mess though. So... Thanks for doing it though *.* beautifully presented!
