September 16, 20159 yr Author Chart HighlightsThe Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" climbs back up to spend its third week at #1. It tops Radio Songs for a sixth week with 149 million audience impressions, and it slides 2-3 on Digital Songs with 101,000 downloads. The song also spends a sixth week atop Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The Weeknd holds down the runner-up spot as well, as "The Hills" jumps 3-2 with the Airplay Gainer honor. The Weeknd becomes the 16th act to occupy the top two spots, and only the tenth to do it as a lead act. The last time a lead act held down the top two was in July 2009, when The Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow" were at #1 and #2, respectively. "The Hills" rises 10-7 on Radio Songs with 94 million audience impressions and 5-2 on Digital Songs with 108,000 downloads. On the genre charts, the song leads Rhythmic Songs for a second week, holds at #2 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and leaps 13-9 on Pop Songs. In addition, it's the most-streamed R&B track for a fourth week, and it takes over as the top-selling urban track.Last week's #1, Justin Bieber's "What Do You Mean?", falls to #3. The points margin among the top three is very narrow, so we could still see a three-way fight for #1 going into next week.Ed Sheeran's "Photograph" lifts 12-10, giving Ed his third top-10 hit (all three of which have come from x). "Photograph"'s rise is driven largely by airplay: it rises 4-2 on Radio Songs with 119 million audience impressions, but ranks only at #33 on Streaming Songs and #21 on Digital Songs, with 42,000 downloads. The song is currently in the top 10 on the Pop Songs, Adult Pop Songs (where it spends a third week at #1), and Adult Contemporary airplay charts, aiding its audience numbers.Further Down: Drake's "Hotline Bling" jumps 22-16 with the Digital and Streaming Gainer honors. It's Drake's 25th top-20 hit. The song climbs 16-9 on Digital Songs with 67,000 downloads, and 14-11 on Streaming Songs. On Hot Rap Songs, it jumps 7-4. Below Drake, @iHeartMemphis' "Hit the Quan" ascends 24-20, giving the rapper his first hit in the region. The track jumps 33-23 on Digital Songs and 10-8 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.Meanwhile, Hailee Steinfeld's debut single "Love Myself" is this week's lone new top-40 hit, as it surges 44-36. The song leaps 23-19 on Digital Songs, while on Pop Songs, it rises 20-19. Below the top 40, Travi$ Scott's "Antidote", from his #3-debuting album Rodeo, arrives all the way down at #75 as this week's highest-debuting song. The track re-enters Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at #24. September 16, 20159 yr Radio still has an insane amount of power on the Hot 100 - hence "Photograph" being so high.
September 16, 20159 yr Author Shame that Demi can't seem to catch a break. Blocked from the top 10 by "Where Are Ü Now" and now "Photograph".
September 20, 20159 yr Isn't her highest peaking single #10 as well? :lol:Unless you count 'This Is Me' which peaked at #9, yes. Demi's chart history reminds me of when Jessica Simpson could never get a second top 10 hit (after 'I Wanna Love You Forever'), instead having three #14s, and one each at #15, #20, and #21 despite having strong airplay for most of those.
