Biography

Little Mix (formerly known as Rhythmix) is an English girl group formed in 2011, consisting of members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. They were formed exclusively for the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011 and became the first group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA on 19 November 2012. It charted in the top 5 in eight countries, including number two in the UK and number four on the US Billboard 200. This made Little Mix the first girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to reach the U.S. top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut U.S. chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls, whose 1996 debut Spice charted at number five. As of December 2014, Little Mix have sold over 7.5 million records worldwide. - Wikipedia

I'm so over Black Magic now, it started to turn stale about a week after release due to overplay on Capital.
:( indeed. A great song missed out to pure slush.

I mainly know Fairground for being in furniture ads which is rather apt for it.

I like Are You With Me, but I think it's departure is coming at the right time.

I agree, but only because this Indian summer we're having can't last forever. I love it but it'd look very anachronistic if it's still playing in cold evenings instead of warm clear evenings as it's clearly meant for.

Biography

One Direction (commonly abbreviated as 1D) are an English-Irish pop boy band based in London, composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Previously, Zayn Malik was a member until his departure from the band on 25 March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010. Propelled to international success by social media, One Direction's four albums, Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013) and Four (2014) topped charts in most major markets, and generated hit singles including "What Makes You Beautiful", "Live While We're Young", "Story of My Life" and "Steal My Girl".

Their achievements include five Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, eleven MTV Europe Music Awards, and nineteen Teen Choice Awards out of nineteen nominations, among many others. According to Nick Gatfield, the chairman and chief executive of Sony Music Entertainment UK, One Direction represented a $50 million business empire by June 2012. They were proclaimed 2012's "Top New Artist" by Billboard. According to the Sunday Times Rich List, by April 2013, they had an estimated personal combined wealth of £25 million ($41.2m) making them the second-wealthiest musicians in the UK under 30 years of age. In 2014, Forbes listed them the second-highest earning celebrities under 30, with the group earning an estimated $75 million from June 2013 to June 2014.

After the release of Four, One Direction became the first band in the U.S. Billboard 200 history to have their first four albums debut at number one. Their third album, Midnight Memories, was the biggest-selling album worldwide of 2013 despite being released in late November. In 2014, Billboard named One Direction Artist of the Year - Wikipedia

Let's have some classic musical furniture :D

The Hills finally getting a play  Do hope this does well like Can't Feel My Face did, it's massively superior to that.

It won't do anywhere near as well as CFMF, which I can guarantee will still be in the Top 40 at the end of the year, and long after 'The Hills' has gone.

This has grown on me so much, I actually prefer it to all their stuff with Zayn :kink:

Louis remains useless as anything though.

Drag Me Down isn't bad, but I still think 1D were much better before Four.
Let's have some classic musical furniture :D

Oh yes, that 'Brilliant Mind' song is, quite literally, brilliant :D

Really hope Love Me Like You continues to climb in future weeks! Absolutely stunning song, easily one of their best ever and reminds me quite a lot of Black Heart by Stooshe  The video is also incredible and the song is so so good
