Songstresses Gabrille & Sheryl Crow (yep, her again) finish strongly as do another rock band in Placebo & an absolute banger in Passion, the legendary DJ Paul Masterton under one of his many aliases, Amen! UK.

Blur edges out The Beautiful South & Texas with by virtue of more 10's/11. Beetlebum, one of their 2 UK #1's, can't quite manage their regular top 10 finishing in these rates. Finishing ahead are Jamiroquai & The Blueboy, both unlucky to miss out on the top 10. Just like their appearances on the track listing these two ended neck and neck, Jamiroquai claiming more 10's to nose ahead. Virtual Insanity remains one of the all time great music videos in my opinion, if you haven't seen it I definitely recommend watching! ^^^ So in a highly competitive rate we are down to just 10 tracks: Bellissima, Block Rockin' Beats, Breathe, Don't Speak, Encore Une Fois, Indestructible, Mama, One And One, You Got The Love & Your Woman. Feel free to speculate!

They only received 10 votes but most were high hence the position. Less of a shock is the Chemical Brothers with yet another top 10 placing. Block Rockin' Beats, one of their most well known tracks, received six 10's, almost half of the entrants! Edited October 18, 20159 yr by Dobbo

Just ahead a track that started rapidly but was squeezed out of the top 5 eventually, Mama. This was The Spice Girls' fourth straight #1 single of a record-breaking run and like most of their songs, has retained a strong fanbase.

Sash! - Encore Une Fois XO05NftxXgc Average Score: 8.08 [more 10's] Total Votes: 13 Highest Rating: 11 (gavindeejay) Lowest Rating: 0 (darkstar79) Another dance classic next at #6, Encore Une Fois. This club classic was the first of five consecutive top 3 singles for Sash! who never quite topped the Charts here sadly. Receiving one more 10 than Mama was enough to cement its position. Into the top 5 and a song that has truly stood the test of time, Don't Speak. This is/was No Doubt's only UK #1 single and had many fans here, including two 11's.

White Town - Your Woman iMESc8PPVyU Average Score: 8.46 Total Votes: 13 Highest Rating: 11 (Luciano) Lowest Rating: 5 (Jonjo) Your Woman was a #1 Single in 1997 from one-hit wonder act White Town. It has done incredibly well in this rate to rank as the highest non-dance track, not picking up a single score lower than 5. At #3 it's a diamond of a track from one of my favourite bands The Prodigy. They really were on fire in this period and Breathe became their second #1 single in late 1996. It put up a strong challenge and ends on the podium, which is great :D Meanwhile the final 2 finished waaaay out in front - it's between One And One Vs. You Got The Love. I can also reveal it was a tie in scores but which way will it go? Edited October 18, 20159 yr by Dobbo
October 18, 20159 yr Author Congratulations to... :cheer: 1. Robert Miles feat. I gotta be honest that's a surprise winner in my book, Robert Miles defying the odds to take victory by the smallest of margins over The Source. Great to see other tracks of his have held up well in people's estimations. You Got The Love, possibly the highest score for a song that didn't win yet, racked up eight 10s from only thirteen voters and received a lowest score of 7, safe to say it's a track which everyone likes. As it is it couldn't find an 11 which proved vital but what a brilliant top two regardless, well done all! Thanks to the 12 other voters who took part in the rate.
