Biography

A contemporary R&B vocalist from Amsterdam, Natalie La Rose was signed to Flo Rida's International Music Group -- after she approached the rapper at an ESPY Awards after party -- but eventually landed on Republic, a label distributed by Universal Music Group. Her debut single for Republic, "Somebody," was a low-key club track in the vein of Tinashe's 2014 hit "2 On." "Somebody" featured Jeremih, who provided the Whitney Houston-referencing hook. It was released in January 2015 and became an international hit, landing in the Top Ten on the U.S. singles chart. - iTunes

AVICII #9 OMG YES :yahoo:

so glad this has become another top 10 album for Avicii, especially considering the massive floppage of 'For A Better Day'. It's easily my favourite album of the year

I find 'Lay It All On Me' quite refreshing for them, their formula of watered down drum + bass was getting tiresome and a spent force.

So they've basicaly switched to watered down pop instead

Yeah same! It's a decent song, one of their best for me for sure.

This result for Natalie is pretty excellent considering how terrible her pre-orders looked! The song has yet to properly click with me but I hope she can bring it with the next single.

Poor Natalie missing the top 10

wow Greg mentions at least the new entries from the album top 10 :o

"Natalie La Rose which translates as Natalie The Rose"

This has done much better than I thought it would. Before release I was thinking a top 40 scrape if it was lucky, #14 is not a bad result.
