Disappointing seeing it falling down the chart at the moment.

Hope they do some more promo for it leading up to the III re release

Yeah, we need lots of promo. These boys deserve to be slaying!

Combined with the Amazon and physical sales, it could end up in top 30, maybe even top 25. It all depends if it stays in top 30 till Thursday.

I think it's performed quite decently, if I'm honest, considering it's the 1st time TT have gone for the on air/on sale strategy and that only Capital has playlisted the song.

If Radio 2 playlists it next week, the song may not fall out of top 100 just yet.

I have to admit it's started to grow on me a little. I still detest the lyrics, but the music is quite catchy.

#20 in the midweeks

Hopefully it'll make top 40 - I'll be ectastic if they can hang on. Worried that they've still got Tues, Wed and Thurs to stay in the top 40 on iTunes and they sliding into the 30s at the moment
More promotion is required to save Hey Boy, maybe they will promote it over the coming weeks.
Wonder if they'll have an XF performance? Surely would have made sense to consolidate sales that week if that was the case

I wouldn't hold your breath. If they had a coherent marketing strategy they would have released the video the same time as the single and lined up various TV appearances last week. I don't think radio interviews have the same impact. Even if TV is lined up it's far too late , the damage has been done.

They are in danger of losing radio air time if they keep producing singles which don't chart well. Radio stations pick up on artists with declining sales and it then gets harder and harder to retain a play list spot.

Yeah - very true on all counts I think
Although I don't like the single it is frustrating because they have released some good songs which haven't charted well. I am now beginning to wonder if sales are quite low for the re-booted album?
At the rate it is falling, it will be just about making the top 75 on Friday now.
I'm still hoping it can remain top 40 tomorrow, that should be enough to get top 40
It's number 40 in today's mids so it hasn't any chance if top 40 unless sales shoot up all of a sudden,I think Pippa is right, its a matter if it will stay top 75 now.
If Hey Boy misses the top 40, is it their first single to chart and peak between numbers 41 and 75?

Once You've Tasted Love peaked at #47.

I did mean do include since You've Tasted Love, that aside,it potentially is their first so they made their breakthrough.
I think you're probably right. So frustrating that it's going to miss top 40

Adele is rumoured to release her album on the same day as TT release the new edition of III :(

Another no 1 that eludes them :(
