My 2ps worth - Kylie is great live (I have seen and heard her) and she is a credible vocalist. Kylie is also way more credible than Britney.

 

Everyone has a different opinion, but the concensus is that Kylie is a great singer.

 

Anyway, Scissor Sisters with Britney? It may work, but I will reserve any judgement until I hear it. -_-

I certainly don't think you can call kylie a great singer, people like Whitney Houston are what I'd call great female singers, not Kylie. -_-

 

Saying that, she is a good singer and far far better than Britney :D

No... I never dissed Kylie or said Britney was better. Show me where I did any of that? :)

 

But we can't deny that neither one of them is really famous for their raw talent. Are they famous for their deep artistic lyrics or powerhouse voice? Not really. You might prefer Kylie's songs and voice, which is cool. I was merely commenting on something that sounded way wrong to me, and as it's THE SCISSOR SISTERS forum, I'm allowed to say I don't find Kylie that talented. Great voice? :puke2: That's simply your taste, technically she's not exactly this generation's Aretha Franklin.

 

The only difference I see between them is the clean image Kylie has. She's a lot more classy, I'll give you that.

 

If anything, you guys are the ones who turned it into "Kylie is better" thread. :blink: Deal with the fact not everyone will agree with you.

I'm not saying you did diss any of them or say one is better than the other, but if you backtrack the posts you will find that you are the one who started the Kylie vs Britney debate.

I'm all for a bit of debate, although i'm not sure this is the right forum to have a discussion about the singing merits of Kylie and Britney.

i guess its a debate of who likes who and ya its prob debated in the wrong place but its natural for kylie fans to defend her and britney likewise,again kylie is the better of the 2 by far for me

The only people that say Kylie can't sing or Kylie does not have deep songs are ignorant people who do not really know all her music, have not seen the live performances and just write her off as another pretty faced pop tart. Its ignorance. Just because she does not sing big ballads and does pop music does not meen she can't sing.

 

Kylie is highly credible. This topic is a joke! Its unarguable. The facts are undeniable about Kylie's talent. I would love to see Britney attempt to hit the notes Kylie can. As much as I actually like Britney. And Im not really fussed if what I say may offend anyone. Its frustrating when someone says Kylie can't sing. Its not an oppinion, its a fact that she can sing.

I was gonna post a huge argument for kylie put I think you done it for me Oz. Yes she is not as good of a singer as mariah, whitney, celine etc but then most people arent. If your saying kylie cant sing or cant hold a note then u are talking utter c**p. You have obviously not heard her sing live at all and that is a shame. Britney can sing but is over-rated when it comes to her voice. I love Britney but vocally kylie is better. Both are great performers but again if you havent seem her perform then again dont comment on it.

It is simply because kylie is a pop artist that some people write her off with people like britney and other "pop tarts" Britney is not a pear to Kylie. Kylie is on a completley different level.
