So after releasing one of the most haunting albums of 2014, BANKS appears to be readying herself for her comeback.

 

Somehow I doubt we will be getting the entire album until well into 2016, but she just posted a clip of the first single 'Better' on Instagram, which is premiering on Wednesday.

I was so hyped for her first album because of the singles leading up to it but felt let down by it on first listen. Perhaps I need to go back now and listen to it again... But still, I am quite excited for new stuff!

The first album was INCREDIBLE. Easily one of my favourite releases in the past few years and it's upsetting to see so many weren't huge fans of it. I still go back to it very regularly and find new tracks to get behind.

 

So naturally, very excited for this - i'm confident she'll deliver again!

Gonna have to listen to her first album as soon as I get time (been meaning to for ages oops I'm terrible) because 'Brain' and a few others I've heard were wonderful. This new track is so great too, such bizarreness :P

Doesn't blow me away like the singles of the first era did but I'm feeling this as a mood setter really. I'm sure she has more goodies coming to hit us with.

now it's had a few days to get under my skin, this is stunning - one of her best yet! the video is gorgeous too

None of her the singles from Goddess caught my attention but THIS is absolutely stunning!

Not fond. I think I only like her when she sounds like MKS.

hmmm.... not really into this, her previous material is so much better

i honestly think this is exactly the right direction she should have gone in, and there will obviously some more instant hits to come.

Obviously different from what she has done before but I am loving this sound for her and I don't think it's as far removed from what she showed us with 'Goddess' as people are suggesting. Parts of it really remind of me of something FKA Twigs would release and that is obviously a good thing.

SO GOOD. Loved the debut but I can see this being one of my favourites already.
